The most comfortable bed i slept in on our holiday, very well appointed and spacious room and our bathroom had a huge spa. The historical building has been tastefully decorated by the new owners who's decorative skills are only surpassed by their warm welcome and attention to detail. If you visit I can highly recommend the restaurant (Blue Jax) I...

What a great find. Really quirky hotel, so full of character, with pretty gardens. We had a lovely welcome and lots of helpful advice on viewing spots for the Blue Mountains. Would definitely recommend this place.

Thank you. There are so many fabulous lookouts in the Blackheath area it is hard to know which ones are best. Among our favourites though would be Anvil Rock and Mt York. We look forward to seeing you again.

The Blue Mountains is steeped in history, and The George Boutique Hotel is a great place to stay in the mountains and soak up some of the ambience and history of the region. One of the original guest houses, The George offers a well appointed and comfortable place to stay, together with friendly hosts. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway.

The new owners of this place are doing great things and deserve encouragement. Some of the staff have been here for near a decade and can testify to the changes that are going on. I would recommend that if you are staying here you call the owners rather than book on a website because they are usually pretty generous with...

Recently, with family members, had a wonderful stay at The George. The size of the hotel is deceiving, as single storey building from the front, but double at the back. Our rooms were very tastefully decorated for the era of the hotel, beautiful old-world furniture. The rooms also had television, WIFI and tea making; with own en-suites. The new owners...

Thanks for coming to stay with us. Unfortunately it was a bit warm for the fire in the library when you were here, but hopefully you can return in winter and enjoy the port and chocolates and be nice and warm with the swirling mountain mists outside! The garden in October and November looks particularly lovely with the rhododendrons out.

Our stay was absolute perfection. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel at home. The room was superbly decorated to fit in with the charm of the blue mountains. The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the spa bath was heaven. We have found our new go to place in Blackheath...

Looking for a weekend getaway we could not have found a better place to stay than The George. We were warmly welcomed, our stay was comfortable and cosy and were offered complimentary port and chocolate to enjoy for a nightcap. With an included continental breakfast in the morning we felt as though we could have stayed the whole week with...

This was the perfect Blue Mountains getaway. My wife and I went for our first wedding anniversary (after getting married in Blackheath the year before) and were instantly made to feel welcome and at home. The high quality service didn't end there, and all throughout our stay they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well...

On the 17th October I stayed with the George after a long day of driving. I was surprised by the change in name but agreeably surprised. The welcome was warm and friendly with the owner remembering my booking details. The dinner was excellent and very generous and the room spotless. This hotel has Old World charm that is in-keeping with...
