This is not the place to stay if you are a light sleeper. As an ex-mountains resident I knew what I was in for in regard to noise. As such, it is very reasonably priced, if all you need is a bed for the night. (we stayed two nights) Keep the windows and door closed and use the AC. Its an old motel and does show its age, but it is generally in good repair. Rooms would benefit from a pest treatment to keep the ants at bay. Keep your food in the fridge. Rooms were well presented, clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and check in was quick. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Tea, coffee, milk supplied and topped up; towels etc supplied and refreshed daily. Ablutions were fine. There are shops across the highway and excellent pizza place just up the road.

PROS: great spot, pleasant owners, parking available for free, and I gratefully accepted accommodation that I knew had some downsides to it according to TA. Beds Ok. Might I suggest better local tourist knowledge at the front desk? Would still recommend but only 3 star and this could be so easily improved and become a 4 star despite busy road location. You are still in the Blue Mountains. CONS: road/ rail noise. It’s Faulconbridge... not much charm there. Could I suggest you get rid of the trampoline remains? It looks horrible and removal would be easy. Also, when you go down the back road, it also looks down and out. If you fixed these things your motel would be a very desirable place to stay due to its proximity to everywhere in the Blue Mountains.

Rooms were very clean and tidy. Motel is a fair distance from shops/cafes so need to drive unless happy to walk 2 km. Staff were friendly with checkin. Rooms were small and basic. If your after a clean place with no frills this is the place for you.

Motel room was clean and comfortable. Check in staff were friendly. Plenty of parking. Noise level affected our sleep and motel experience, being located on the highway and opposite the railway line. In between trains going past, there was a constant stream of trucks either braking down the hill or revving to get up the hill. We suggest the owners consider installing noise-minimizing glass along the balconies - this might help the noise issue. The ground floor rooms may have less noise.

I've stayed here a couple of times now for work. Rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy being both on the highway and the railway line. I drive a large vehicle and there is plenty of parking. Central to where I need to travel.

I have here twice now, with my husband and three young children. The large family room with kitchenette is perfect for our needs - not a poky motel room, plenty of space for us all, including a lounge and dining table. It is located up quite a long flight of stairs though, which is not so kid-friendly. TV in the separate bedroom is a plus, as in other motels we have had to put our kids to sleep and sit around twiddling our thumbs in the dark! Everything is absolutely spotless. The staff are really friendly. Traffic noise was not too noticeable given the motel's proximity to the highway. It is worthwhile to note that you can't turn right into the motel car park when coming up the mountain - you need to turn right just before the motel and go around the back streets. Also, there aren't many places to get food close by, unless you drive into Springwood (but Dominos do deliver to the rooms!) The only negative was the noise coming from the residence next to the family room, but it was only a very minor blip during a very comfortable stay.

Stayed one night in a small, clean but totally uninteresting room. Bed was not very comfortable and very noisy. Luckily I had no intention of doing anything but sleep as there were no chairs or desks. Won't stay here again

Extremely plain accommodation. Basically clean but lacking in character or comforts. In room furniture is basic, like something you’d find in an office canteen. In need of a major upgrade. Located right on the main road so lots of noisy traffic. Overpriced for what it is. Personally it gave me the creeps.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Arrived late and the owners were very accommodating to check me in after the reception had closed for the night. The room was very spacious and comfortable, particularly the bathroom which is huge. I was concerned about the traffic noise being right near the highway, but this wasn't a problem at all. The room I was in had a window only at the back, and noise and light was minimal. All in all an excellent place to say. The only downside for this place is it's extremely difficult to get into or leave heading west, due to not being able to turn right on or off the highway. Have to go more than 1km up the road and do a U-turn on the back streets, to come back.
