Caves House is an old style hotel with the charm of that era. We had a classic room that made for a comfortable stay, despite the need for new paintwork. The ensuite bathroom was good and the room quiet. We had a very good meal in Chisolm's restaurant. The staff in the restaurant and hotel were friendly and efficient. I...

We stayed here whilst on an overnight visit to the caves. Our deal was bed and breakfast, but we had dinner to. The rooms are very old fashioned but clean and comfortable, aprt from no air conditioning. Portable fans are available. The hotel is supposed to be one of the most haunted in Australia, one of our party said she...

We stayed just after Easter 2017 and found the accommodation really comfortable, clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is getting a bit tired as it is a very old one, and was refurbished at some stage a couple of decades ago. It still has the old world charm and we couldn't have asked for more. We...

This is the only accommodation to fit a family of 5. Found it to be dated but everything you need for a night or two. The kitchen is very handy for cooking your own dinner/breakfast. Very winding road into Jenolan, do not bring a trailer etc.

Arriving at Jenolan is just stunning! Driving through the archway and then seeing the gorgeous building set in the trees was amazing. We loved every second spent here. We stayed at the Mountain Lodge which was basic but had everything we needed. Chisolms Restaurant was great, and it was so lovely to dine in the grand old room. We did...

Great get away, enjoyed every minute. Staff where fabulous and the guides very passionate. Its a real step back in time and love having no reception. Cant stop telling friends and look forward to going back. Would love a bungle deal with the walk as I wanted to see them all.

The location is INCREDIBLE and the people working there were super nice an accommodating. We stayed in one of the classic rooms with no bathrooms and it was still LOVELY-the electric blanket was a bonus and the room had a window with a beautiful view! The pool table room and the fire place in the hotel was a perfect way...

If you are looking for a breakaway wooden cabin high in the mountains on the middle of natural forests, dont even look further. We wish we booked for a longer stay. Wonderful quiet, lots of birds, wallabies and the odd echidna. Playground for kids and bbq's ready to be used. Kitchen utensils were lacking, but for the rest, more than...

we loved staying here. lovely historic property in beautiful surrounds. stay on the western side if you can it gets the afternoon sun and makes the rooms brighter and fresher. the eastern side rooms are a bit dim and dank due to the large natural rock wall just outside the windows.we enjoyed one of the best meals we've had in...

An unique experience. Caves House is a tad tired; however, rejuvenating the old lady of the mountains would consequently cause the room prices to rise significantly. If you're fascinated by the amazing cave labyrinths, if you want to step back in time when ladies held parasols and men wore three piece suits, if you don't want a cliched holiday experience,...
