The way travelling used to be, sleep in your room, eat with others in the saloon, drink with other guests. Beautiful guest house filled with antique furniture, kid friendly, great atmosphere, great hosts. Great value too! Will definitely return.

We stayed here over the Queen's Birthday weekend for 2 nights. We chose this property for it's heritage listing which did not disappoint. Loved dinner here and relaxing with a glass of wine beside the open fire. Excellent breakfast and cannot fault the staff. However, our bedroom was freezing cold and we were disturbed early in the morning by a...

If you are after glitz and glamour you won't find it here but if you are after some relaxed atmosphere, great food cooked by Roman, friendly staff and warming up next to the fireplace - look no further!

V&A Guesthouse was a pleasant surprise. It was like stepping back in time and really experiencing a country and heritage lifestyle. The house and all the rooms were very clean and tidy. Beds are very comfortable. A very welcoming and homely feel and I will definitely stay there again if I am in the area.

Location was good and parking no problem. Upon arriving there was no explanation of anything just that "here is your key, your room is upstairs". Room and bathroom was clean enough but cold. Music from dining room could be heard in our room until very late at night and then again from early morning when dining room opened for breakfast....

Early in the week and very quiet, but service met all our needs. Lovely big bedroom and ensuite. Very good quality meals in an elegant dining room, open fire and pleasant classical music. Mount Victoria is about 15 minutes from Lithgow up the Blue Mountains. A very picturesque area, close to well known holiday spots of Blackheath, Katoomba, etc. The...

We stayed here on our weekend getaway to the Blue Mountains. Our room was older than our friend's room, but we had a private bathroom and the rooms in themselves were comfortable enough. The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the historical offerings of the place and walked through the different rooms looking at everything we could. Breakfast the next morning...

Stayed here for two nights. Loved the features of this rambling old guesthouse. Beautiful gardens and places to sit and watch the world go by when the Hiking was done. Food was terrific with warmed plates! Good breakfast and comfy bed. Would be happy to return.
