Always wanted to stay in a colonial style house as we do not have this style of housing in England. Excellent value for money. Our room was very comfortable and had a lovely feel to it, good quality linens and towels . Lovely complimentary toiletries and chocolates. Free continental breakfast really good. Wish we could have stayed longer in this...

We had stayed at the Manor House a few years ago and were disappointed. Not this time though. Renovations are still work in progress but new owners have made a world of difference. Bedding is new, so clean and comfortable. Our room was light and airy too. Really good continental breakfast included in the price. In summary - comfortable and...

A great old hotel in quiet surroundings, with excellent, friendly, welcoming hosts.' Our room was very comfortable and the bed was excellent, heating good and extremely clean throughout, including the bathroom. Our breakfast was one of the best and our dinner was exceptional. Sitting around the open fire with our coffee was delightful. The hosts are undertaking major improvements (only...

Stopped here on first night of trek in Blue Mountains. Wonderful old building steadily being renovated. Under new management since Aug 2016 so ignore any earlier reviews - very friendly and helpful staff and food best we've eaten since coming to Australia 4 weeks ago. Excellent all round.

We enjoyed a perfect weekend away at The Manor House. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. They even bailed us out with a phone charger. They are in the process of restoring the building, but this did not detract from our stay. We enjoyed our days at the Mount Wilson blossom festival, which I also recommend. Beautiful rooms, wonderful service...

Stayed in this hotel for just one night. Bedroom small but all that we needed for just one night. Bed comfortable. It needs another bedside light. However, the coming renovations of bedrooms will rectify that. Very cold night but very good heater in room and the rest of the hotel had heating on plus a good fire in the dining...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Mount Victoria Manor, once the weekend residence of J.R. Fairfax was built in 1876 on the most commanding point at Mount Victoria. Mount Victoria Manor is a magnificent, rambling edifice constructed on solid stone foundations, embellished architecturally with cedar fittings, leather ceilings and highly decorative anaglypta wallpaper. Currently undergoing a renovation with the theme 'Heritage with a Twist' it has retained its impressive qualities, combined with an ambiance you can feel as you walk in the front door. The onsite restaurant 'Coopers' serves hearty country food using as much local produce as possible. Our herbs are delivered daily by a local gardener who works with our team to create fresh wholesome food. Our bar has a Spanish feel and serves tapas style food just perfect to eat whilst sitting in front of one of our open fires. Mount Victoria Manor is situated in a small 19th century village. The house has 13 en-suite rooms and 3 apartments all individually decorated with queen or king ensembles, feather doonas and electric blankets. All rooms have en-suites and the apartments have a shared bathroom within each unit. Our gardens are also undergoing a renovation and we have plans for a kitchen garden and we are rejuvenating our orchard. ... more   less
