I stayed with a dear friend at The Birches for a wonderful weekend in Nundle. Our rooms were well appointed with everything that you could possibly want. The rooms were clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Local art and craftworks are on display throughout the guest house. Our host was welcoming and friendly and we felt like we were at home....

We found the room to be large, well appointed and very relaxing. Complimentary port and chocolates were a nice touch. The verandah had ample and comfortable seating. Breakfast was included and was very good. This was provided at a cafe around the corner. Vicki was standing in for the owner who was away and we found her very nice and...

We stayed at the B&B as an alternative to the motel next door (owned by the same family) on a room-only basis. The accommodation was delightful -- a little touch of heritage here and there but decidedly modern inclusions. Lovely outlook over the village and hills. Off street parking from a side street. The owners have sourced the individual touches...

We didn't have a booking fir Birches B&B and there had been an issue with our booked accommodation, so we were delighted when we were offered this room. It was clean, the carafe of port is a lovely touch. A walk to the pub for dinner, the view is great. Our trip was saved and we couldn't thank Marie enough...

We had a very comfortable night in one of the two rooms that are at the front of the building. The house is new and clean with a nice front deck overlooking the town. The rest of our group stayed in the Motel next door which is also owned by the same people. Highly recommended stay and our group had...

Now with all due respect we did drop into Nundle mid afternoon on Saturday of the long weekend just gone and hadn't pre-booked anything. I had looked at the Birches website prior to travelling to Nundle but at that stage this B&B was booked out. I enquired at the Hills of Gold Motel (same owners) and as there had been...

We spent one night in the front bedroom. The room was beautiful, very clean and the decor was quite luxurious. The view was stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed our night there. We will be back. We dined at the nearby and the meals were quite enjoyable.

In Nundle! Next door to the motel and run by the same people. Rooms are excellent and less than a couple of years old. Everything spick and span and a complimentary muscat. View from the window is lovely across the "Golden Hills" which are stunning at sunset. The pub, the only place to eat at night, is next door but...

A very comfortable B & B in a picturesque, out of the way country town. Views from the front verandah (accessible to all guests) are truly lovely. The autumn colours make this a very pretty place. Location of the B & B is ideal - close to everything in town yet quite peaceful too. Best rooms are at the front....

We stayed in one of the 2 front rooms in late December & were very pleasantly suprised at the layout. It was almost a small apartment with its own entry & outdoor setting on the verandah. The bedroom was large with 2 armchairs, small table, fridge, some cutlery & crockery ( I am sure Marie would provide anything else you...
