My husband and I rated the Vertumnus Cottage the best accommodation we stayed in during our 2 week self drive holiday of Tasmania. Not only did the cottage have stunning views, it was very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean and equipped with everything and anything you could possibly think of. The cottages are positioned to give total privacy. The welcome...

We stayed in Vertumnus cottage, one of three set in beautiful gardens overlooking the Tamar river at Beauty Point. It had a large living area, with a kitchen area, dining area and large lounge area with comfortable seating and a large tv. The bedroom was large, with a king-size bed and a comfortable armchair in the window overlooking the garden...

Wonderful cottages in the most stunning location, everything is presented to the highest possible standard. We stayed for a week but would happily have stayed for a second week. The cottages are well equipped and comfortable. The Tamar Valley is beautiful and interesting with plenty to occupy the visitor. The view from the cottages is amazing. A great place for...

Wow. What a little gem! We booked online, all three cottages for our annual family getaway from 27th-30th December, 2014 (mother/father in law in one cottage, brother in law in one, and the four of us in the family cottage). Greeted by smiling hosts we entered our cottage to find a home away from home. No expenses have been spared...

This place was just lovely. We were greeted with a tasting plate on arrival of local produce and sweet treats. The place has a truly homely feel, with all the amenities you could need - also the breakfast provisions are just delicious - fresh, good range, lots of it! We stayed in March, but in the summer months, the BBQ...

The cottage was clean and had all the necessary kitchen needs to cook your meals. We BBQ'd every night! The wood fire was just sooooo nice. I could sit in the lounge all night with that fire going. It was warm and cozy. The cottage was very spacious with a seperate bedroom, huge bathroom with washer/dryer, spa and shower. Lounge...

I have traveled to well over 30 countries and stayed in hundreds of places, and this is in the top few. There is literally nothing they could have done to make the stay better. Great breakfast provisions with homemade bread, wood burning stove, flashlight, cooking utensils, nice bbq, amazing view, very clean, great bathroom with spa tub. Everything was great,...

“All three rooms are very similar in design. The two bedroom one is just a bigger version with a separate bathroom for the twin room, and an ensuite for the master bedroom. The Apollo is in the middle and the furthest one has king bed, lounge, bathroom etc but also has pull down single beds in the lounge that we didn't use, but noticed where there, hidden in the wall unit.”
