Family of four stayed overnight on our travels between Hobart and Queenstown. This place is an absolute gem and I had the best sleep since arriving in Tassie. Our host was welcoming and provided information on our forward journey including places of interest. We ate at the local hotel which was okay (we recommend passing on their famous schnitzels which...

Great place to stop on drive from Hobart to Strahan. Cabins are clean and modern. Owner adds nice touches like complimentary port. Wallaby and padymelon around the cabin at dusk. Pub down the road does excellent meals. Would definitely return.

Perfect, peaceful, beautiful place in middle of Tasmania. We had wonderful time here. Stay was comfortable and Spa bath was awesome. Night sky can be amazing for star gazers there (if weather permits). In morning, we got the chance to hold the wombat ( a wonderful lady saving the wildlife there brought wombats and wallabys to reception) We saw lot...

From the initial phone call to returning the keys, Pauline and Paul provided exemplary service in this wilderness environment. Their attitude is friendly, helpful and welcoming. The cabins are spotlessly clean, perfectly maintained and have every convenience you'll require. They are conveniently located just off the main road and well worth the extra few k's drive from Derwent Bridge. Highly...

First, you need a reason to stop in Bronte Park, because Derwent Bridge makes a more logical stop en route between coasts, or at one end of the Overland Track, while both Derwent Bridge and Tarraleah provide more dining options and a wider scope of attractions. You might be fishing the lakes near Bronte Park, or you might not have...

What a perfectly peaceful place to stay away from the hustle and bustle. Our accomodation was clean, warm and cosy. After a day walking the trails at Lake St Clair it was lovely to arrive back to the comfort of our cabin. We had our own food with us so took advantage of the cooking facilities in our cabin but...

Check in late due to tracking at lake San Clair and windy road(car sick), the owner very kindly left us the instructions and key. Accommodation is huge, and fully equip kitchen. Highly recommended to bring your own food to cook. Or else, there will be a pub or restaurant open not far away. Bring some water as well. Or else...

We were simply amazed at what we discovered here. The cabins interiors are almost brand new inside and so incredibly well looked after. Our kitchen was full of every sort of thingy you might want except for a teapot and real oven. Doesn't matter because I don't drink tea and we had our dinner up the road at the Bronte...

We travelled as a group of 5 and were looking for 3 bedrooms, but ended up getting one cabin in the centre of bronte park and another about 1 km from town, near the booking office. The one in town was 2-bedroom and delightful, plenty of space and cosy fireplace. The other was a like a pokey motel room in...

We were thankful to be recommended this accommodation. The Cabin was cosy, warm and very welcoming, the bathroom had a huge double spa which was very relaxing after a busy day. Cabin was equiped with everything you could possibly need inside and out. Thank you to Paul for lighting our Woodford for us, very nice to walk into a warm,...
