A pleasant surprise. We'd booked ahead before we left Melbourne. A self contained unit ( we were in cabin 6 ). A friendly greeting from the two ladies at reception. We only stayed the night but our accomodation was comfy and very clean. One drawback with this area. There was only one hotel to eat at up the road and...

Just a one night stop, we were not expecting too much...Drive up and exterior are quite modest, however upon entering you find everything you need in a beautifully fitted out cabin. Big firm bed, pleasant sitting area plus balcony and fully equipped kitchen, with all the you need and more. and all spotless. What a great surprise.

I can only echo the previous reviewer. Everything here is excellent. we received a lovely welcome and found our cabin absolutely delightful. Stylish decor, immaculately presented with every little detail carefully thought out. Be sure to eat down the road at the Bronte Park Hotel.

Paul is a delight to meet, he is helpful, cheerful and a genuine host. He ought to be proud of his business, our cabin was immaculately turned out, excellently appointed and equipped, well laid out and very, very comfortable. On our 3 week trip staying primarily in cabins, this was, by leaps and bounds, the best accommodation.

We stayed here for 1 night and loved it. We stayed in Cabin 4, it was clean and well set out with a great kitchenette for all your cooking needs, including a stove-top and outdoor BBQ. The balcony was a real gem, beautiful place to sit and watch the sun set. The finer touches by the owners such as the...

Family of four stayed overnight on our travels between Hobart and Queenstown. This place is an absolute gem and I had the best sleep since arriving in Tassie. Our host was welcoming and provided information on our forward journey including places of interest. We ate at the local hotel which was okay (we recommend passing on their famous schnitzels which...

Great place to stop on drive from Hobart to Strahan. Cabins are clean and modern. Owner adds nice touches like complimentary port. Wallaby and padymelon around the cabin at dusk. Pub down the road does excellent meals. Would definitely return.

Perfect, peaceful, beautiful place in middle of Tasmania. We had wonderful time here. Stay was comfortable and Spa bath was awesome. Night sky can be amazing for star gazers there (if weather permits). In morning, we got the chance to hold the wombat ( a wonderful lady saving the wildlife there brought wombats and wallabys to reception) We saw lot...

From the initial phone call to returning the keys, Pauline and Paul provided exemplary service in this wilderness environment. Their attitude is friendly, helpful and welcoming. The cabins are spotlessly clean, perfectly maintained and have every convenience you'll require. They are conveniently located just off the main road and well worth the extra few k's drive from Derwent Bridge. Highly...

First, you need a reason to stop in Bronte Park, because Derwent Bridge makes a more logical stop en route between coasts, or at one end of the Overland Track, while both Derwent Bridge and Tarraleah provide more dining options and a wider scope of attractions. You might be fishing the lakes near Bronte Park, or you might not have...
