I was travelling with a group of 17 older adults, some with mobility issues. The room was clean and roomy enough, and the bed very comfortable. There was an issue for some of the guests in that the restaurant was not open for dinner and it was a fair walk into town for them. However, breakfast made up for everything....

Thank you for your kind comments. We are so pleased you found your room comfortable, and enjoyed our (new) beds! I am also delighted you enjoyed breakfast. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip around our beautiful island.

The room was a little small but for the price it was ok. The double bed was comfortable, but the single bed in the room was less so. The place is a bit dated but it is clean and comfortable. The room could do with some sheer curtains, if you open the heavy drapes for the light you are exposed...

Absolutely lovely staff but oh&s issues everywhere! Wholes in ceiling of main building with insufficient lighting. Unacommidating carpark that made getting in and out difficult. Very slippery surfaces ! Cleaner also came very early!Generally in need of a good update to match its beautiful restaurant veiw

Richard and Nigel have the place running smoothly. Definitely go there again. Didn't get to try the restaurant and weather was a hindrance. The joys of Tassie huh. Only disappointment was there was no place to put the soap in the shower!

I stayed here for one night shortly after Christmas during a trip down the west coast. The buildings are true of an older style, tired motel. My room had a queen size bed and single bed (which was next to a full floor-to-ceiling window, not sure I would want to sleep next to it). It was somewhat mismatched: modern looking...

Maybe it was just a bad day. Musty smell at reception. Average room, Great view at sunrise though! Difficult parking - not well lit at night. Plug-in heater hidden behind the couch. At breakfast made my way through empty reception & up to find the restaurant deserted (closed?). Went to check out at 8.15 to find reception locked. Not a...

I stayed in the motel section which is a bit old and in need of renovation. It is a short 5 minute walk into town. The room was clean and the service was friendly. The continental buffet breakfast was good.

Stayed here with an elderly family member. Very high on a hill overlooking the ocean. Good view from room. Too steep for walking for my mum but still easily able to get about by car. Parking was tight and had to exit by reversing and trying to avoid parked vehicles. Beds were fantastic. Pillows also amazing. Warm and comfortable. Would...

Stayed with my partner in the executive apartment which was roomy, clean and incredibly comfortable. The room had a king bed, lounge area, decent kitchen facilities and a big corner spa in the bathroom. The service from check-in to check-out was friendly and genuine. Breakfast was included which was pretty fantastic (Nigel guessing the manger/owner makes an awesome strong coffee).

Visiting Burnie, this time not for work, I was happy to see that still the same great service and accommodation is provided. The breakfast was great, bed SO comfortable and the suite was clean and tidy. Everything you need from a hotel. More than happy to recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in Burnie.
