Was doing a trip from northwest to Hobart and back and decided to break the trip. This place was comfortable, clean, great value, excellent continental breakfast (some eggs provided too) and great welcome. Comfy bed. Just off highway so very quiet but good location. Strongly recommend it.

We stayed over night at the Ivy. The hosts were very friendly and the room was very well equipped. For a bed and breakfast, this was the first time I had to cook my own eggs, but they were farm fresh and delicious. There was toast, juice, pastries, yogurt and wine for purchase. The room had everything imaginable under the...

Thank you rosieox for your review. We are a self-contained Bed and Breakfast so all our apartments, as you know, have full kitchen and cooking facilities. We prefer to allow our guests to eat their breakfast at a time which suits them rather than lock guests into a time in a breakfast room. As you know check out is not...

As a regular traveller I was looking for a restful and peaceful place in transit to Hobart from Launceston. The Ivy turned out to be one of those places you dream about where you are welcomed and all basic needs accommodated in clean, tidy and atmospheric surroundings. Irene and David the welcoming and friendly hosts made the stay a special...

Stopped over at this magical wonderful piece of history made super comfortable by the gorgeous welcoming hosts, Irene and David. Wonderful breakfast in the privacy of my own cottage. Highly recommended. And my puppy dog loved it too!

David and Iren are such gracious host and hostess. They are thoughtful, into details and welcoming. A strongly recommended place to stay. 5/5. You couldn't find a more accommodating place to stay than this one in the Campbell Town. The free range eggs from the back yard, the Berry Yoghurt, the green tea and coffee.... the list goes on and...

David was such a wonderful host. He went out of his way to chat with us about the history of the place and you can tell he's very passionate about all they've accomplished. We loved the Doctor's wing, it was perfect for our family and we wished we had stayed more than one night to relax and enjoy David's hospitality...

We arrived on a bleak windy day to be greeted by David and shown into the aptly named Dry suite. it was heaven. Comfort, warmth, attention to detail and so many unexpected pleasures.
