Stayed in the Tuscan room as once again it was only for 1 night. Breakfast was superbly presented, and the bed wonderful. The amenities available rival those of a high-end hotel property. Am a picky customer and couldn't fault anything.

Ivy on Glenelg is a spacious B & B, generously furnished with a large en suite, kitchen, washing machine (no dryer) and all the ingredients to have a light or full hot breakfast. There is off street parking and the cottage is far enough from the main road to avoid any traffic noise. We were met on arrival by the...

Thank you Geoff333_13 for your review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and thank you for doing so. We hope your trip to Tassie was excellent. No we are not a hotel and as you said a small B & B, however we do have 4 available areas but only 3 that are fully self-contained. We also hope your...

Fabulous B&B. Ivy is well situated to town centre and tourist attractions. The B&B has it all including breakfast and afternoon tea. David and Irene are the hosts. They are welcoming, intelligent and very informative regarding local attractions and Tasmanian history. A B&B experience that's a must.

Thank you Robbo5310 for your review, your comments and for staying with us. We do try to keep informed of local and not so local attractions so we can advise visitors to Tasmania of places of interest. We hope you had a lovely time in Tassie, the trip back on the Spirit was calm and that you have arrived home...

We cant speak highly enough of our stay here. We were very late arriving - almost 11 pm - and greeted warmly by our host. The apartment is gorgeous and very comfortable and quiet. We had all the ingredients and facilities to cook our own breakfast of fresh eggs as we had an early start. And I have to mention...

Thank you for a beautiful place to rest our weary heads after an incredible day at my sister's wedding. Ivy on Glenelg is simply stunning, with old world charm, tucked away as a hidden gem in the small town of Campbell Town. Every conceivable detail was taken care of during our one night stay. We were supposed to go out...

Thank you 254jackie2016, And what a lovely day you had for your sister's wedding, very lucky considering the amount of rain we have had prior to and after. Her day was, as it should be, lovely. A beautiful must stay location. We stayed in the Doctor's Wing for 2 nights - self contained, spacious, historic and so well equipped. We're greeted by a roaring fire, berry compotes, and all the facilities you could wish for topped off with generous warm hospitality from David and Irene. Access to the farm and pet animals was a added treat...

The Ivy on Glenelg is a historic building in a town already steeped in history. We stayed in the Doctor's Wing which was a fully self-contained, incredibly comfortable and cosy place to stay. The room arrangement is a little odd in that the entrance room leads into the first bedroom (with a single and a double bed) which you have...

Thank you Gordon D for your review. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay. We have tried hard to maintain the historic feel but add discreet mod-cons. The girls (hens) work hard to produce what we think are absolutely the most beautiful eggs. Thank you for finding us.

We stayed at Ivy on Glenelg for 1 night on our way to Cradle Mountain. David was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the get go; he even made a reservation for us at a local eatery. Beautiful and comfortable old world charm. A welcoming beacon for a very wet miserable day. Everything, plus more was provided. A definite home away from home. Warm soft fluffy robes and slippers complimented the cosines of The Doctors...

Thank you Gordon for your review. We are pleased you enjoyed your breakfast provisions and that we have tried to renovate keeping in mind the home was built in 1838.
