Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Late checkin handled well as staff left key for us at reception area. Premium cabin well appointed. We walked 3 days in the national park and stayed 4 nights. Self catered 3 and ate in the restaurant, Hellyers on our last night. Cabin contained a spa and was good on the muscles after our walks. The...

Very close to the National Park and the visitor center. The rooms (we had a luxury room) are quite clean, but you can see, that they are already a little bit older. The restaurant is quite good, we liked the "Tapas-style" concept. There is a lot of wildlife around the rooms.

Very comfortable and spacious room with a well equiped kitchenette. Lovely and quiet and although we didn't use the spa, it would be lovely to sit and look out at the bush. Even though we visited in January, it was quite cold and we loved the fireplace. None of the rooms have a view of Cradle Mountain but apparently none...

Second time and we really enjoyed it again - this time in one of the fantastic spa cottages. Cabins are spread out in the bush behind the central reception/restaurant building. An while they're not really large, everything is arranged so well, that they look much bigger from the inside. Well equipped as well, so we even decided to prep our...

Spacious and comfortable with two bedrooms and a good kitchen for our family of three. Close to the Visitor Centre with a free bus to Dove Lake; enjoyed soaking the in spa after walking around the lake. With a private deck overlooking the bush, this place was the highlight of our trip to Tassie. WiFi was limited; we made up...

We realised that we were not going to make it in time for check-in at 6pm so I called ahead and explained we'd arrive at around 9pm. They were very accommodating and made alternative arrangements for us to get our key to the cottage. When we arrived we picked up our key and made our way to the cottage, upon...

We arrived late -approx 8.20pm and the restaurant was closed. One of the reasons we booked was due to the onsite restaurant and it was our wedding anniversary so a dinner onsite was anticipated after a long day of travel. We ended up walking to peppers lodge for a dinner at 9pm. The staff at peppers were able to drive...

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin which was great for our family of 4. The heating was lovely, needed at night even though its the middle of summer!, as were the heated towel rails. Having read previous reviews we bought all our food with us and the kitchen was perfect for our needs - cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle. Location...

Was disappointed on arrival that the restaurant was not open for the duration of our stay. The staff weren't overly helpful in this and just let us know where else to eat. With 3 young kids an onsite restaurant was part of the reason we booked here. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. We had the two bedroom spa cabin...

Great cottages, awesome location and nice staff. Really a stay we enjoyed with or 3 children. And it is very close to the information centre. Remember to bring own food and drink, but there is a small shop with most important groceries.
