It was a lovely and great place to spend my special birthday. Close to the park and lots of wildlife we had a snake outside our room for a couple of days sunning himself but all was OK as the units are up above the ground. The hotel was good value for money and the restaurant was lovely great food,...

We booked one night on our journey around Tasmania and as it was my wife's birthday we wanted to make it special. The friendly staff helped us to our room and we booked a table at the restaurant foregoing the buffet. At the appointed time we were ushered to our table looking out to the surrounding bush. My wife ordered...

My family and I had the BEST time staying here. It's like a lodge with it's warm crackling fires and people around heading off for walks and treks. The restaurant is incredible - every dish is very well thought out (recommend the gnocchi) and we didn't meet a bad staff member the whole time. They also have a pool table...

On arrival at this accommodation there is the illusion that this is a grand and high quality hotel. The foyer is welcoming with a log fire and comfy sofas. The restaurant and dining room are modern and the log fire library areas welcoming and comfortable. That's as good as it gets! Check in was rushed and lacked a friendly welcoming...

Stayed here as part of a group. The bedroom was large, clean and comfortable. We had a buffet dinner both nights which was very good, regularly replenished and had a wide vaiety of foods to choose from. Breakfast was excellent with plently of fresh fruit and cooked items. All the bedrooms were ground floor and we enjoyed a parade of...

Well set out and furnished. Very comfie bed. Room service fillet steak was exceptional. (Restaurant booked out) Buffet breakfast was not great, cold food and ran out of stuff. But I now expect that. Hot omelette made to order was nice. Wallabies feeding at dusk around the window and balcony. Great to see them like that excellent staff on for...

We loved staying here. The rooms are pretty basic, the bathrooms tiny and dated, but it is the kind of place where you don't spend much time there. There were cozy lounge areas go relax in, a great restaurant, art gallery and, little walks from the building. Of course, there was that whe Cradle Mountain National Park thing in its...

Stayed for a night for a girls weekend away. Great location and we had a room looking out over the bush which was lovely. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, happily provided ice packs for an ankle injury. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Had a very nice meal for dinner but breakfast buffet could be improved. Coffee expensive but...

We were left waiting at the bar for 11mins.Not the barman ( who was drying glasses) nor the wait staff showed any interest in speaking to us. I said " Hello!" To a waiter who completely ignored us. The lady behind the till finally acknowledged us..She told us we had a booking for 7people..I replied we had come into reception...

I believe the Cradle Mountain Hotel and Cafe are connected. It is also possible to pay for petrol at the cafe. May I recommend you buy your petrol elsewhere and take all your business elsewhere. The young woman I dealt with there was offensive, and obviously concerned we would leave without paying for the petrol. It was just on 5pm...
