We only stayed one night, if trip plans had allowed we could have comfortably stayed more. Very clean, well equipped, friendly hosts. So far and by far easily the best bed we have slept on in Tassie. Self contained, with a small Webber BBQ on the deck allowed me to cook a nice meal rather than having to get prepared...

This house has a spectacular location on Esperance Bay. It is well equipped, well laid out with a deck that affords absolute waterfront access. The sun rises directly across the bay from the house and the scenery changes hour by hour as the weather changes. The quality of fittings is good, starting in the kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, gas cooktop...

My husband and I booked into Driftwood Cottages in Dover at the last minute as our planned travel to the south-west had to be abandoned because of road closures due to the bushfires. Over a long weekend we felt fortunate to find accommodation anywhere and were pleased with our choice. The welcome was warm and helpful as we asked for...

Upon arrival to Driftwood Cottages we knew we were in for something special. We checked in seamlessly and were soon on our way to our 'Cottage'.. Our Cottage ended up being a tri level home, with views that looked out over the water, boats and tree tops. Upstairs was the master bedroom including spa bath. The second level consisted of...

It's nice but probably more suited to families plus it's miles from anywhere, Dover although welcoming and pretty is over an hour from Hobart. We had no idea it was so isolated, in 5 days our room has not been serviced once, which for the price I was expecting much better service. My advice if you are going to stay...

Hi Victoria-Kiwi Thanks for taking the time to write a review- you have chosen to stay in one of our lovely freestanding cottages, Raminea Roses- this one is 5 km out of town and in a garden setting, ideal for those who want to be away from it all and definitely not so great for those like yourself who would...

We had a wonderful stay at this place. Clean, tidy, and extremely well equipped living room and kitchen, we really couldn't fault it. The unit we stayed in had fantastic water front water views and a lovely hot tub, I would have given it a six star if a couple of robs were included :) The rooms were big airy...

Gorgeous accommodation right on the water. We stayed in the Tasmanian Oak room which was a studio with extra bedroom. Great little place to stay very quiet and clean and perfect access to places like Tahune Airwalk and Hastings Caves. The only downside to the area is there were no coffee shops!

Thanks for your review Claire We certainly could use more coffee shops in the area although we do have the lovely Thelma Retreat open Sunday through Thursday and Abby's Coffee open Thursday-Monday. Hope you enjoyed the Airwalk and the Caves!

This stay was lovely. We had a studio cottage just about on the water, the views were beautiful. Called in without a booking and were accommodated without any hassle. Lovey unit and friendly staff. The area is so pretty with the most amazing clear waters. The one recommendation would be to take prepared food as eating places are scarce.

We stayed in Houn cottage. Tiny but open plan so it didn't feel too cramped. Just right for two people. The view was straight onto the bay and delightful. We were jet lagged and up from 3 am watching the sun rise over the water. There are huge patio doors onto a veranda which we opened and the silence was...
