The good is good and offers real value for money. The place is also a great spot. Just the ambient of the restaurant would need a real overhaul. Somehow the restaurant looks like a place in the 70s connected to a souvenir shop

We travelled with 2 teenagers and stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment - the view was great! Good heating for nights were a bit cold! We visited the Tessellated pavement - it's worthwhile to see especially at dawn with the reflection and great stop to stay as only about 19kms to Pt Arthur. There are no nearby supermarkets - if...

Lufra is well positioned hotel overlooking the ocean. This is my third stay at the Lufra. The building is showing its age but the staff are very friendly and the service is very good. Peter and his team went out of their way to make sure that we had a relaxing experience at the hotel. It was a pleasure to...

Just had another terrific meal at the Lufra hotel. Great service (very efficient) and really good food. The new menu is great - we loved the tasting plate with seafood bisque, mussels, squid and ribs. Finished with a lovely brandy basket with fruit. Yum! Highly recommend it!

Hubby is a keen photographer and due to the proximity to the tessellated pavement we booked this hotel for two night. I thought I had booked an apartment but when we arrived i was informed no we booked a hotel room, we were kindly Told we could upgrade if there was room! Luckily for us there was one apartment left!...

An apartment stay in the Lufra Hotel. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment after picking up some walkers from doing the Three Capes Walk. The apartment was up stairs with two small bedrooms and a living, dining, kitchen area. It was a lot smaller than I expected and getting well worn but it did have everything we needed, as...

Lovely spot with awesome views. Our twelve month booking had been altered. Strangely, One water view new apartment had been booked and one small room in the old hotel section upstairs with no lifts. After to-ing and fro-ing we were 'upgraded' to a king sized bed in a basic hotel room. My sister insisted on us having the same. Not...

Hi there, and I hope the rest of your holiday went smoother than you have outlined here. An apology is warranted, and certainly passed on with the confusion between your booking agent and ourselves.

Having booked in advance I was allocated a really noisy room next to the kitchen extractor, the guest laundry and the water system at the end of a corridor that was like something out of The Shining. (A group of Bikers that walked in before me without a booking were even allocated a better room!). Noise in the room was...

As posted previously, firstly apologies on not responding to your email. Where it went, I am not sure, but let me respond to your comments please. Yes you did book in advance and you bought through price selecting a standard or budget room, which is outlined on booking.com site as well as on our website. That said, I am glad...

We went here for dinner on Saturday night. I had fish of the day with a choice of battered, crumbed or grilled. I had my trevally crumbed with garlic mash and beautifully cooked vegetables. It was obvious that the fish was freshly caught. My husband had a whole snapper with chilli sauce which he said was also well cooked. Nice...

My wife and I booked a budget room at the Lufra Hotel for 7 nights. On arrival a dark haired guy (not sure if it was Peter) upgraded us to a premium room with million dollar views overlooking the sea. Big thank you! :-) The rooms are basic but clean with a comfortable bed and everything you need including complimentary...
