We stayed in one of the lodges for twelve nights. Could easily have spent another twelve nights there! The Lodge was well equipped, very clean, the bed very comfortable, plenty of choices for breakfast provided including free range eggs, freshly baked bread, great honey and some really nice wine-NOT drunk with breakfast though! Stunning views, Wallabies everywhere with sightings of...

Couldn't ask for a better escape. We booked the ocean view eco-studios for three nights early December. Every studio is equipped with a fully-furnished kitchen with two stove-tops, a microwave, a fridge, a toaster, a kettle and plenty of pots and plates so you can cook your meals. The owners also stock the kettle with croissants, jam, butter, milk and...

On my friend's recommendation, we stayed here for 2 nights. This is such a different place where one could appreciate the beautiful scenery by simply lying on your bed. Every time we got out of our door, we bumped into either kangaroos or wombat. Although this is not a glamorous setting, the little lodge is impeccably clean with almost crispy-feeling...

My partner and I recently stayed at Phillipa and Virginia's property. It was absolutely beautiful and so secluded. The cabin was small and cosy, we loved the Smart TV with Netflix (perfect for when the rain came!) and the heated floor in the bathroom was such a nice treat! Phillipa and Virginia were lovely and easy to communicate with in...

When we booked the lodge, we didn't know we had to get up the hill. We had an amazing time at Freycinet Eco retreat. The place equipped with excellent cooking grill/microwave. The lodge is thoughtfully designed with quality. The location is great, you can see the sun come up from your deck. The scene is amazingly beautiful. Also the wild...

We have stayed in a few eco retreats around Australia and Freycinet Eco Retreat is easily in the top 3. We stayed in Lodge 2 and had spectacular views of The Hazards and surrounding bay, and experienced a real serenity in genuine luxury. The wallaby and her joey who visited us on two occasions was an added delight to our...

We do not know where to start with place. Phillippa and Virginia have really nailed it. The location is picturesque, looking down toward the coast with 180 degree ocean views. We stayed in an Ocean View Eco Studio King Chalet and loved it. The room had all we needed and more. My wife was very excited when she discovered that...

We had an amazing time at Freycinet Eco retreat. View from the lodge was fantastic. You get wildlife right outside your door step. The lodge was thoughtfully designed and built with quality. Little things like having salt pepper, butter, cling wraps and foil made cooking very convenient in the lodge. There was also a complimentary half bottle of Pinot noir...

The Freycinet Eco Retreat is THE place to 'retreat' to to escape the world and just quieten down for a few days. The set up in the rooms is practical, accomodating and of high quality. The lodge is not large, but very well set up and the sustainable practices are very well implemented. There is no restaurant onsite, but Philippa...

If you want to be in town this is not for you. The town is about 10 kilometers away, with it's basic shops. This is a hidden gem a few kilometers drive along a private gravel road up a mountain. The views are spectacular as is the nature and wildlife all around. We never saw the owners/managers but the entry...
