Absolutely the best option for accommodation if you travel to Freycinet. Lovely and friendly staffs with excellent service. With a nice location, at the entry to the national park. The cabin just facing to the ocean. I wish to stay much longer here .
We stayed in the lodge for two nights while on a brief tour of Tasmania. It really was a wonderful experience - very large and comfortable rooms, beautiful views, excellent food and super friendly staff. It is situated close to the entrance to the National...More

You are right, May will be a quiet time at Freycinet and I'm sure you will be able to book a cruise when you arrive. We did not go on a cruise. We spent most of our time bush walking. The return walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout took about 1 hour and was easy. You can also walk to Wineglass Bay and complete a loop circuit which will take about 3 hours to complete. We also climbed Mount Amos but it was difficult with two kids in tow. Enjoy your stay.
