We visited for 2 nights as part of tour of Tasman ia, location was lovely but our room was dirty and lacked basic facilities. Reception staff not very helpful very disappointing as was expensive No plug in sink , only one hand towel, dead flies in bathroom, room really basic and in need of a clean, very disappointing as booked...

First impressions great. Got upgraded even better but not too sure what was different from what we had booked. Great lodge but no view as trees too high. Food great but altogether very expensive for what it was. Room great very big loads of room. Sunset watching great place

Arrived here towards the end of a very enjoyable tour of Tasmania. The location is stunning but the hotel seemed determined to spoil the experience. We had booked and pre paid for a spa cabin several months ago. We were therefore somewhat dismayed to find that our cabin (no.59) was probably the worst located on the whole site. Effectively it...

It may be the time of year but our deluxe spa room was over $400 per night which put this property into the 5 star category. The location is indeed 5 star just inside the Freycinet Park boundaries. The views from the restaurant and reception are lovely and the property is well maintained. However the rooms need some serious upgrades....

Enjoyed 3 days at the lodge in a premium spa room. Although the resort is not brand new the room was very well presented and comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We dined both in Richardsons Bistro and the main restaurant and found all the meals above average. Really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately only 1 dryer was...

Great location, peaceful well equipped cabins, secluded and private. Easy walk to the beach. The food and wine selection in the restaurant was very good. The bistro is more like a canteen and the breakfast was average. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great base for adventures around freycinet national park. Some lovely beaches just outside our cabins. Rooms were comfortable, clean-ish (you are in a national park after all), beds were comfortable but our stay was quite pricey. We ate at the restaurant both nights - food was delicious and staff were fantastic (I have some dietary requirements which they were happy...

I returned to the lodge after having been here as a child and it had changed a lot, it used to be devoid of any technology and was a great retreat from the modern world. You used to be able to go here and have to resort to playing tennis, kayaking, bush-walking, board games, etc to entertain yourself. Since being...

We had a lovely stay whilst at freycinet lodge, it is centrally located for the wineglass bay walk which is located in the national park. Facilities are being upgraded, which is needed in areas. Staff were really helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Freycinet lodge for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. It continued the relaxing feeling we had experienced so far in Tasmania. The room was close to honeymoon bay, peaceful, spacious, clean and nice. It is bungalow style but we never saw or heard other guests. The lobby has a beautiful view, they advised us well about...
