This is a purpose built B&B in a beaut location overlooking Great Oyster Bay with fantastic sunsets viewed from the guest lounge while we were there. The room was very comfortable with excellent wifi. It was in a quiet and peaceful location outside Coles Bay with easy access to the beach and not far from Freycinet National Park. There was...

Dear Helen and Rob, We're sad to learn that you weren't entirely happy with your stay, but hope that there were enough good things about it and our beautiful area to make you wish to return to Tasmania on a future occasion. We're not sure what you chose for your cereal course. Commercially produced breakfast cereals are offered in single...

As we're pretty passionate about our beautiful area and want guests to enjoy their time here, it's good to know when we've been successful. we also enjoyed your company. Sheoaks is a wonderful location and a great value. There are very expensive places nearby but the hosts at Sheoaks really make this a terrific place to stay. There are only 3 rooms so meeting people around the breakfast table is a great addition to your trip. The hosts here are very knowledgable and friendly and can recommend things to...

Such an interesting layout here. The rooms are along a short corridor with direct access to the car parking area if needed, then there is a small and pleasant lounge with tea and coffee making facilities and good wifi, and then a very nice dining area. Beyond that is the kitchen, open to the dining area so you can chat,...

We enjoyed having someone to stay who was so genuinely interested in everything about our beautiful area. As we try to keep au fait with all available activities, driving you to Devils in the Dark was no hardship. It provided us with an update. We hope you will return to Tasmania some time. Lots more still to see.

The facilities at Sheoaks were excellent, giving travelers privacy away from the hosts with a shared common room. The rooms provided everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast, dinner and hiking lunches were delicious. The only thing that I would suggest is that the fridge be stocked with unused water bottles that are not recycled- I do appreciate they are...

Apologies that you didn't like our efforts to cut down on the amount of plastic entering the environment. Cost certainly wasn't a factor in our decision. Had you asked, we would happily have given you sealed water bottles to take on your walks. Coles Bay was one of the world's pioneering non-biodegradable plastic bag free towns - 2002 I think....

Stayed here recently for two nights. Alan and Margaret are excellent hosts. Make you feel very much at home. Also understand keeping distance and get the balance right for a B&B. I spent a lovely relaxing weekend at Sheoks and it couldn't have been better. The owners were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Clean, comfortable rooms, a cosy fire in the sitting room, amazing breakfasts and dinners. This was a real gem and a great base to explore Freycinet. I would love to go back soon!

We're glad that your recent stay at Sheoaks met your need for a totally relaxing weekend. The Freycinet Peninsular has that effect on people! Do come again some time, maybe next Grand Final weekend, so that Alan has someone to enjoy the match with. Margaret.

Dear Elizabeth and Ken, We're glad you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful part of the world. Of course we'd be delighted to welcome you back any time.
