What a gem of a park and am sorry we couldnt stay longer than 3 nights. Clean, tidy and ever so peaceful even when full. I found only having 1 washing machine was a bit of a hassle as people came in and wanted to wash straight away but that was the only thing as no one could help the...

This was a great find on our campervan adventure. The park is located along a beautiful creek with resident platypus. Despite the popularity it has managed to maintain a beautiful thick green lawn throughout (which was lovely after lots of parks with dirt and gravel) and there are fireplaces all along the creek. Jill, the park caretaker was lovely and...

Great Park will come back, stayed 3 days, Jill very helpful works around park keeping it in clean condition. We were very lucky to get in, all site booked and people turned away, would be nice if the wifi had a bigger area as you need to go to Jill reception area all the time, Telstra very patchy

Thanks for the five star rating and for your comments regarding your stay at the park. We are always glad when people enjoy themselves. Yes, it pays to book ahead if possible as the park is very popular. We are aware of the Wifi coverage problem and are hoping that this will be rectified in the near future.

Just got back from a couple of nights here and it was just magic! It was so peaceful even though the park was full. The manageress (a fellow Qld ex-pat!) couldn't do enough to accommodate us. The amenities are clean, the park is tidy and well kept. Offers both powered & unpowered camp sites. Showers are 60 cents a go...

Stayed for a week so nice we couldn’t think of anywhere else we would rather go to. Very popular but we didn't feel hemmed in. Nice grassy sites, magical creek with platypus seen most days. Frendly caretaker who keeps the place spotless. Great base to explore surrounding towns and countryside. Local to good shops, 25mins, a short drive to a...

What a beautiful place to stay. Right on a creek with crispy crystal clear water.. kids had a ball paddling in there. Saw the resident platypus one evening. We stayed here a week with our tents, was freezing when we got here (think thermals, beanies) and rather windy... had an amazing view of the ranges (we think it was Mt...
