Motel in fairly good position with lovely river walk. Host could not be more helpful. Very upmarket menu in restaurant. We were given 2 rooms as there were 3 adults, which gave us lots of space. Cleanliness very good. Decor slightly tired but clean. Well supplied and also a minibar with snacks and drinks for purchase. Great facilities for the...

I should have expected that something when I booked and the funds were deducted from my credit card almost immediately. (Red Alert) Upon arrival the gent I got my key from to Room 19 was very cordial. Then I went to park my car outside our room. (Red Alert) There isn't any actual parking spots for the rooms. I parked...

We needed an overnight stop and tried here. The staff were great and the prices OKish (but adding a credit card surcharge less so) and whilst the room was OK it showed its age and the facilities were basic at best. OK for our overnight needs but we wouldn't stay longer.

For a stay with a difference try the Junction Motel just a short drive from Hobart. We felt at home as soon as we walked into the reception. "Standard room" that is decorated as a home away from home. Lots of interesting art work everywhere with each room a classic original. We only needed a one night stopover but in...

Stayed here to break the journey between Strahan and Hobart. We would have liked to break earlier but we found nothing available after Derwent Bridge. This is a very friendly motel. The guy on reception was lovely. We got a senior's discount. The room was small, we had problems manoeuvring round the furniture and the fridge was more a minibar!...

The room was small and made to feel smaller by a lot of art work on the walls. It felt a little cluttered. The bed was very comfy. The room was very clean and the shower was great There was no air con in the room , only a fan and the window was only a slat window which didn't...

The Junction is a very eclectic motel run by Tim, a really nice guy. We had travelled from Strahan and wanted to stay out of Hobart on our way in. The Junction hit the spot. It is really good value, and the rooms neat and tidy.Bear in mind that this is an old (possibly 70's motel) that has been renovated....

Our stay at the Junction Motel was excellent. Very comfortable and clean rooms with all amenities needed. We dined at their restaurant and we were most impressed with the selection of dishes, the service, and the funky decor. Tim, at reception, was very knowledgeable and obliging, providing us with information on our continued travels (where to stop, what to see...
