The Inn is certainly a colonial experience. The hosts are very welcoming and the accommodation in the old part of the inn is clean and colourful with many touches of country charm, perhaps a little too many! There are antiques scattered around the complex making the stay unusual and interesting. There is a restaurant which serves a basic menu. The...

This charming Inn was one of the most delightful places we have ever found. The exceptional warm and friendly owners could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Even though we arrived latish in the evening, and they were more than happy to provide us with a delicious dinner. Breakfast was more than adequate and was served in...

This abode is quit an antique.I found the meals to be expensive, the breakfast was great and well presented in the room. The only problem I found was that the room was full of memorabilia and there was hardly any room to move. There was no table to eat breakfast on which made it a bit awkward.

Found this lovely old place by chance and so pleased we did. Very comfortable and like stepping back in time. Cosy fire going while we waited for dinner. The room was comfortable and breakfast provided in our room, cereal toast and fruit. Our hosts went the extra mile. Would go again any time.

Came across this great property whilst travelling around Tasmania. Booked before arrival and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised when I arrived, better than expected. Beautiful old building with an amazing collection of antiques on display with some for sale. Great room with excellent bed. The owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful about things to do and see...

As soon as you arrive you are made to feel so welcome. And inside is full of antiques, so much to look at, it is such a charming little cottage, we would stay here again anytime. Bed was so comfortable and a really nice hot shower. Breakfast was great, with your own pot of tea or coffee plunger and plenty...

Our room was quite lovely, spacious and very comfortable in all aspects. Breakfast in the Continental style was extremely well thought out and there was plenty of it. Port and Sherry in lovely decanters waiting for you if wanted. Hosts Lydia and James so friendly, Lydia joining us after we had dined in the dining room after a lovely meal....

I just took my 84 year old mum on a holiday to Tasmania. We stayed with Lydia and James and had a fantastic time. The owners made us so welcome and really looked after my mum. Our room had river glimpses and had all facilities we needed. It was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and there was plenty...

This historic inn is crammed with treasures and junk. The host was very accommodating and helpful, recommending places to eat dinner. Breakfast supplies were perfectly adequate. Location good, short walk to eateries in CBD.
