Glenbrook Cottage is nestled in the bush just out of Penguin in a serene quiet location. Nature abounds in this tranquil setting and the accomodation is just perfect in a well redecorated 1900's cottage. Our host, Christy, was welcoming with fresh home made bread and biscuits. If you are looking for some peaceful R&R then this is the place!

Such a beautiful location with amazing hosts full of old world charm. Waking each morning to the smell of fresh baked bread, fresh eggs for brekkie and homemade treats always available are just some if the highlights. A genuinely beautiful couple live at this lovely place... One not to be missed 😍

Amazing place; the views, the animals, the cottage and most of all the hosts. One of the most generous and friendly couples I have met. Would stay again in a heart beat, could not have asked for more. Greeted with cake and a choir which was a lovely surprise for a birthday, this was shortly followed up with fresh homemade...

We stayed here for only 1 night, but it was so amazing and memorable stay. The room, the house, the garden, everything was beautiful and cozy. The owner couple was very friendly and kind. They showed us around the farm. We enjoyed to see their hazelnuts farm, apple orchard, chickens, sheep, lovely creek with ducks, and so on. We appreciate...

We were welcomed on arrival with a cuppa and freshly made muffins. Chris really set the tone for our brief visit. The room was large and very comfortable. The living and dining area was also generous and inviting. Our breakfast was wonderful and the chats we had with our hosts were most enjoyable. We would recommend this property to all!

We were lucky to happen upon Glenbrook House - in the B & B - where we stayed recently for 6 comfortable nights recently. Our bedroom was well appointed; full of lovely character and warmth. The home itself is beautiful, with big, snuggly chairs by a wonderful warm fire. Outside is a lovely garden, with BBQ facilities and an outdoor...

Breakfast next moring was a delight with various options available. The local bread was a highlight. A lovely log fire was on at night if required and...

Chris and Calman are charming hosts that made us feel welcome, the spot was just perfect for when you get off the boat from Melbourne. The bed was super comfortable, the secluded spot nestled in the trees with lots of animals and orchard trees made us want to stay longer. In fact if you were just going to stay up...

Wonderful place to stay! The cottage is very clean and cosy and gave us a feeling of "home away from home". We had lovely breakfasts on the veranda with freshly baked bread made by Chris and lovely local leatherwood honey and home made jams provided by our hosts, followed by horse riding in nearby Dial Ranges ( We brought our...

We arrived in Penguin after a long day on the Spirit of Tasmania to stay in Glenbrook Cottage. What a beautiful cottage! Chris and Calman are the new owners and we were made to feel very welcome. Chris had baked some bread and muffins with homemade jam, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was supplied for both of the nights...
