We went to Stewarts Bay Lodge overnight Sat 11th Feb.Very nice Forest cabin, probably expensive enough at nearly $250/night.Buffet breakfast an extra $20/ person was a bit of a let down in that the choices were fairly limited.

Stayed one night of the recent Regatta long weekend. Cabin was deluxe spa 2 bedroom well appointed and clean . Amazing views and very private. Ate in Gabriel's for lunch very nice meals maybe a tad on the more pricey side. Kids loved the beach and jetty. Very short walk to Tasman Island Cruises boats didn't get a chance to...

We stayed at Stewarts Bay Lodge in January 2017 as part of a short break tour of Tasmania during our trip to Australia. This is a great place to stay for its location - there's a wonderful coastal path to the Port Arthur site, delightful views and a restful forest ambiance. However, watch out for the 'ghost spa'! Nearby Port Arthur...

We were pleasantly surprised with this place as it is very close to Port Arthur without the tourist hype. Very clean & spacious with a great view with outdoor seating over looking the bushland and water. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The resurant is meant to be fantastic but isn't open on a Monday or...

My partner took me away to Stewart's Bay Lodge for an over night getaway for our anniversary. All in all a very disappointing experience. We had a deluxe spa chalet. The spa didn't work. The cabin needed a good clean up, the walls had dirty marks all over them and the carpet was stained. During the evening before bed we...

Way over rated and way to expensive for what it is, we could smell sewage and rooms are not serviced and the accommodation is a little tiered and out dated. The only good things I can say was the beach is nice and the restaurant is very good, the walking grounds are also nice. My opinion stay elsewhere there is...

The Lodge is just brilliant. We had a log cabin overlooking the water – the view from our deck was amazing. Enjoyed several happy beers simply chilling to the birdsong. The cabins are very well kitted out. All the crockery, cutlery and kitchen items you need so no issues if you want to do your own cooking. The bathroom was...

This resort is stunning. We chose it because it was walking distance to the start of the three capes track. We stayed in the log cabin and in the spa chalet. Both were above expectation. The spa chalet has the jet bath which was so appreciated after the walk. We spent most of our time at the beach(es) - safe...
