We loved the cabin style accommodation, the friendly staff and the day tour we took to the Tarkine with Rob who was very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was excellent. Cost was affordable. The staff were very efficient when dealing with emails and questions about our tour. The food and wine on the tour was great.

Lovely spacious, clean rooms. Kids loved the indoor heated pool and spa. Location was great, nice and quiet, very relaxed feel to the place. Restaurant & bottle shop on site. The ducks at the back door like to get some leftover bread too.

Stayed for 2 nights with my partner prior to the rest of our family flying over to have a road trip throughout the rest of the state. Accommodation was extremely affordable with breakfast included. There was a slight issue with a room being allocated to us but was easily fixed! The room was modern but still had beautiful timber features....

Situated on the edge of Smithton and close to the Tarkine Wilderness area this large resort is an ideal base to explore the area. Accommodation consists of rooms and apartments which are well appointed and comfortable and a reasonable price. The bistro serves very good food with plenty of choice including a very reasonably priced wine list. The staff are...

We wanted to see the Nut at Stanley but could not find accommodation for the dates we would be there. Smithton is only a short drive from Stanley so we chose to stay at the Tall Timbers. We were surprised on arrival how close if was to town. The cabins were cozy and the bathroom had been updated. Our dinner...

We had been told that the Tall Timbers was not that good meal wise before our day trip to Smithton. I can only say that this information no matter how well intended was way off the mark. Our meals were great.Good bistro fare of organic chicken with seasonal vegies plus panko crumbed scallops with a warm Indian potato salad were...

I recently stayed at Tall Timbers for 2 nights while in town on business. On arrival Tall Timbers itself and the location are beautiful. The staff were friendly, warm and professional from start to finish. The amenities were great, with heated pool, gym, restaurant and bar. The food in the restaurant at night was fantastic, great menu, cooked perfectly and...
