Lovely hotel. I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was spacious with a full kitchen and lovely bathroom. Well appointed room. The only downside was that I did not have the great view you get from the 2 bedroom apartments!

Stayed here for one night on a coach trip. Large cabin which was warm, comfortable, electric blankets, heater lights in bathroom, good toiletries, lovely setting, swimming pool (we didn't have time to try it sadly) personal introduction to Tall Timbers by the owner to our coach, friendly staff, but all let down by poor food. Had I been the chef...

We had a wonderful few days at Tall Timbers. It is the perfect place to access the Tarkine drive which was a hilight of our Tasmanian holiday. The accommodation, food and service was great. We highly recommend Tall Timbers

Tall Timbers has a lofty opinion of its self. Upon arrival, the reception is so dark and dreary, due to the over indulgence of timber everywhere. The person who served me was very robotic, not a smile to be seen, very bored with the whole process of greeting guests. I can help her out there, I won’t be back. The...

Stayed at the Tall Timbers on business and was able to take clients to Kauri Bistro in a very enjoyable and comfortable environment to discuss business having an excellent night with great service. The rooms themselves are comfortable and provide a relaxing place to wind down after travelling.

This is a great place to stay. Accommodation is in individual cabins which are quite, warm and private. A short walk to a large restaurant/bistro with great food and service. Very peaceful in an area close to everything.

Timber Tops accommodation is fantastic. Well appointed, very comfortable clean rooms that are reasonably priced, ensure you get a relaxed sleep. These rooms look almost new and are very warm and spacious. Make sure you book ahead so you don't miss out on the best accommodation in the area.

In the middle of a 10 day jaunt around Tasmania our 2 nights at Tall Timbers were much needed and exceeded expectations. Our 2-bed lakeside apartment was very well-equipped and spacious. Dining on the private deck and having the ducks come up from the lake to greet us each time was magical. Our only gripe was that the dust-buster vacuum...

Wow everything about Tall Timbers is amazing. The location, the facilities, the friendly staff, lovely food and wine. We ate in the restaurant and had the fresh stripey trumpeter and the pork belly and both were absolutely amazing.

Being the Easter long weekend we had difficulty finding anywhere in Stanley to spend the night, however the wonderful staff at Tall Timbers found us a room which exceeded our expectations. The restaurant, where we'd eaten on previous occasions, didn't disappoint. If you're looking for a great steak, Cape Grim eye fillet can't be beaten. All in all, a very...
