I Googled pubs in Sorell and came up with the Pembroke. But, there was a bit of a concern as it said only ONE STAR.....hmm, we were getting desperate as it was getting a bit late in the day. We went into the pub and were pleasantly surprised by the relatively clean, modern decor. We were shown to our room...

Full points for all our meals along with the great service. Being in Tassie we mainly went for the seafood, the seafood crepe was fantastic, and along with the sides nothing let us down. Would highly recommend

I have been dining, drinking, and shopping at the Pembroke Hotel and Bottleshop for nearly 4 years now, and it's always been a very pleasant experience with family and friends! The atmosphere is great, and the staff are friendly but last week at a family barbecue, the young girl that works at the Pembroke Bottleshop came up in conversation, and...

Just had dinner with the family here. Fantastic! Piping hot meals, quick service, very busy for a Tuesday night. We had steak, and fish of the day. Veggies on offer were fantastic, I want to know how to perfect the crumbed cauliflower. If we are in the area again this is where I will be dining.

A couple of weeks ago we passed through Sorell and spotted the Pembroke Pub and thought we would stop for a meal. OMG the food and service was exceptional. First time in 8yrs in Tasmania I finally got the perfect steak. Meals are amazing and very reasonable, staff were very friendly. We drove nearly 2 hours today back there for...

Booked this hotel by telephone for a single night then two consecutive nights later in the week as hotel/ motel accommodation was at a premium in December. I stayed the first night in a basic hotel room which suffered from traffic noise, noise from the bar and heat. There is no air conditioner or fan and a concern about opening...

Four senior citizens made a booking to this hotel. We arrived from Swansea on our motor trip around Tasmania. When we attempted to check in a female employee in charge of bookings said she had no booking for us (even though one of our group informed her of the conversation he had with an employee when we made the booking...

We stayed for 2 nights late February as a central spot for our journey. It is handy to Hobart, Port Arthur and the road to the east coast. The room was clean and comfortable. No AC as mentioned but there is a pedestal fan. Our weather though was mid 20s. No screens on the windows could be a problem for...

We stayed here before heading to Marion Bay which was just a short drive. The Pembroke was easy to find and had off street parking. I think the decor in the rooms has been recently updated however carpet was very stained. Breakfast of cereal, milk and juice was included in the room. There is no aircon and room got very...
