Travelling around Tasmania on a road trip, and we decided to take a punt and stay here. The check in was pretty basic, with no further information about the area or maps offered. I decided to treat myself to a hot buffet breakfast the next morning, and I wish I had saved my $25.00. The hash browns were soggy, the...

well presented accommodation. nice sized room. stayed one night. pleasant foyer to relax in. clean and tidy. welcoming staff. only disappointment was the view was described as garden and was only a hedge. also the pathway is lined by very sharply trimmed hedging and too enclosed . Hedge needs overhaul. Was extremely windy when we were there but a little...

The motel was lovely. The staff we interacted with were also lovely. It was clean and inviting. It was hot. We had an oscillating fan in our room but it was still too warm. We had our toddler with us and he could open the door and could remove the safety chain from the door so we couldn't relax in...

Very pleasant and friendly reception staff, upon their advice paid $40 to upgrade to a apartment "with fabulous water views". These views turned out to be of St Helens Bay about 300 meters away over a swamp. Immediately outside of our apartment was a pond with a couple of empty drink bottles beside it. The basic room was tired, the...

The evening meal was disgusting, the management are accountable for lack of staff doing all jobs, tolerance towards guest low expecting my mother disable to carry own luggage, no help filthy sheets and pillow...

Business function. Receptionist lacking in basic manners. Appeared grumpy on morning shift. Suggest further training in hospitality. No airconditioning in conference room. Did supply portable units when requested

This is where bogans go to convince themselves that they're living the good life. "Strewth Narelle, it's even got indoor dunnies! Round up Jaxxon and Sharnee and we'll grab a selfie with everyone sitting on it". In short Tidal Waters is all gloss but no substance. The sort of place that feels tacking the word "Resort" onto the name confers...

We are travelling around Tasmania. This motel is overpriced for what you get. Leather chairs and plenty of common areas. Water view but ours was a reedy pond. Restaurant food was very good. Overall prefer to stay down market as you get the same facilities.

Decor is old. Small television. Bathroom needs complete make over. Restaurant and front desk staff very pleasant. Saving grace is a very large patio off the restaurant overlooking the bay and the balcony off our room with the same view.

Accpmmodation in Bay of Fires is quite scarce so this place, just 11km from Binalong bay, fitted the bill very well. The hotel is big with large public spaces, but the welcome was warm and efficient and the rooms spacious with all mod cons. Ours overlooked the lagoon which was a nice surprise. Lots of parking a plus. Also a...
