Queechy Cottages saved our bacon! We were originally booked into Kellraine Units in St Helens but, despite three confirmations and a phone call the week before hand, they stuffed up our booking leaving us to fine alternative accommodation at 3pm in a town with very little available. The Tourist Information Centre contacted the owners of Queechy Cottages and they were...

We stayed in the older cottages up on the hill. The room was generally clean, bed was comfortable and he shower was adequate. The appliances in the kitchen were old. There was no traffic noise up on the hill so any of the units would be okay from this point of view.

A really great place to stay very affordable and very clean the lady at the desk was a pleasure it is in walking distance to the town would stay there again plus it would leave some of the more expensive accommodation for dead for price and cleanliness

Rented a cottage here . It has the weirdest layout of anywhere in the world I have stayed . Lounge and shower/toilet downstairs with the bedroom at the top of a very steep staircase . It's fine so long as our older patrons don't need the bathroom once or twice a night!! Apart from that they were very clean and...

This is a great place to stay if you are travelling around by car. The cottages are a few minutes drive from the main street -a little bit far to walk. The cottages are excellent value! They contain everything you need and more. They have a great winter lodge ambiance and a big communal living area. A convenient coin operated...

What an amazing treat and surprise! Motel suite that was more like an apartment. Well appointed, spotless two roomed suite. With everything we couple possibly ask for! Check in was simple....as I said, cannot fault it! Views pretty special too!

We stayed at Queechy by accident as our booked accommodation had a mix up and double booked us. What a pleasant surprise! We were so impressed with how large the room was compared to anywhere else we stayed. It was extremely clean and well maintained. Free use of a washer/dryer was a bonus you don't get anywhere else! Highly recommend...

Nearly didn't enquire because reception was deceptively run down and uninviting. Fortunately we did go in and found a wonderful cottage at an excellent price. The bonus was the fabulous Punjaab Indian restaurant next door. Don't miss it.

Nice and clean, functional and great value. Great views too. Close to the main centre either drive for two minutes or a five minute easy walk. There is also a free guest laundry. There's an Indian diner that looked like the locals where enjoying.
