We stayed one night on a weekend getaway. We were very warmly welcomed and shown the room we had booked but also another that was available and suited us better. Our room was upstairs and had a lovely view from a private balcony and everything you could require. The bed was delicious - so comfy!! The shower water pressure was...

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid March and very much enjoyed the experience. The extensive home is so close to the beach - so close that there are penguins nesting in the garden! The decor is homely, and the hosts, Maxine & Graham, are so very welcoming and helpful. They were delightful, as were Maxine's famous breakfasts.

We visited a little while ago now and are still talking about when we can next go back. The house has such a great vibe. We loved using the sitting room and having wine and cheese in the dining room. Breakfast was amazing. And the location was perfect for walking everywhere. We got the last room available and next time...

We loved everything about our stay at Hanlon House. Our hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. We were checking in on Good Friday and, knowing there would only be one restaurant open, they took the liberty of reserving a table for us. Very knowledgeable about the local area, they offered more assistance than a visitor information centre. The rooms were...

Large comfortable rooms, warm friendly hosts, fantastic breakfast selections all delicious. They even have happy hour where you can have a complimentary beverage with other guest while enjoying the fabulous view. All set in the great town of Stanley. Highly recommended. Best B&B we stayed at during our 3 week tour of Tasmania.

I underestimated the attraction of Stanley. Due to itinerary changes I had little time to enjoy Hanlon House. The host are very welcoming, informative and accommodating to your needs. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Location has stunning views of beach and the nut and a short walk to restaurants and shops. I want to go back and spend more...

Wow what a great stay. The room was beautiful, well equipped, spacious and filled with antiques. Tthe hosts were so helpful and the breakfast was sumptuous. The stays highlight was seeing the penguins arrive from the beach and come into the back garden to feed their chicks.

we have stayed at this venue twice now but many years apart. The hospitality, ambience, attention to detail, location and comfort are outstanding. The generous and gourmet quality breakfasts are made to order and shared at a family atmosphere huge table with a great view and mine hosts either in the kitchen, serving or there to attend to every need...
