We did an over night stop at the lodge. We collected our key in an envelope at the office and made our way inside. The room was big, really old fashioned (as you would expect) The room was clean and there was a separate toilet and shower for our room down the hall. There was a communal lounge and kitchen...

We arrived to an empty place with our key in an envelope at the front door. We were directed to the rear of the building and on entering were greeted with a very dirty musty smell. We were disappointed to say the least but since we booked the place felt obliged to stay. As we were travelling in a group...

We arrived at 3 in the afternoon to find a key left out in an envelope and not a person in sight. After letting ourselves in, the dank musty smell was overpowering. The place had a grimy feel, floor coverings ancient and the chairs in the tv room looked grubby. We both looked at each other and burst out laughing...

We got a free upgrade to the cottage, which was great. It was old (a wooden building over a century old, which adds to the charm, and maybe some other reviewers should realise that), but huge, with its own kitchen and lounge bigger than many houses! The bedroom was huge and had bay windows for a magnificent view of the...

We stayed in the semi-cottage for one night. It is a nice place to stay. Very inviting settings. Highly recommend it! But if some more towels supplied, it would be better. Overall, good place to stay!

We had the whole B&B to ourselves! The owners were away but had left it all set up for us. It is VERY old. We had a warm electric blanket on our bed which kept us cosy all night. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was provided and all we needed to get us going. It is a little out...

Online the cottage and surrounds looked good, but when entering the cottage it smelt like it had been closed up for a very long time. The couch felt damp and the sugar in the bowl was also damp. The bed was not very comfortable, and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. Didn't have a good feel about the...

We were only here for 1 night last year but I really enjoyed it. I was looking for Eastern Ground Parrots and the owner is very knowledgeable on where to find them and other local birds. Family style breakfast was a nice touch. Stay was actually March 2014, I forgot to post here although I posted on my blog.

We were very happy to have found this accommodation just a short drive from the main township. We opted to stay in the lodge and had our own en suite. The guest lounge and breakfast area are shared with other guests which was a lovely way to meet fellow guests . Magnificent views of the Harbour and mountains. Older style...

Stayed here with an elderly parent. On arrival no one home to greet us and show us our room. Keys were left but we felt uncomfortable entering someone else's home. Accommodation was very old and dated. Not very clean. Dust over mirrors. Furnishings were extremely old and dated. Needs a big upgrade to be competitive. Other accommodation available in the...
