We stayed here for 2 nights in order to do the Gordon River cruise. We booked into a cottage room and we got the lovely stone cottage on the corner. It was quite roomy inside, with a small seating area too which was a surprise. There was a large gap under the front door which I had to cover with...

Traveling down the west coast of Tassie on holiday we stopped at the town of Strahan and were very satisfied with the accommodation at "Strahan Village" several forms of accommodation offered by this business. We had own own historic stone cottage with all the comfy amenities we expected on our two day stay. Lovely view of the bay and cafes...

We only stayed one night before our Gordon River Cruise but it was lovely enough to stay for a few more if it suits your plans. We had an executive room up the hill behind the cottages which had a glimpse of the water only due to the garden growing too tall in front of our room. The rooms above...

We stayed at the Strahan Village. When we looked at their web site it was very informative as we need some special accommodation due to travelling with our special needs daughter, lovely views of the Macquarie Harbour too.

Quaint little cottage right on the waterfront with off street parking. We literally walked across to board our Gordon River Cruise. The room was well appointed but some of the furniture was starting to get a little warn. We had a nice big bathroom.

Comfortable and well appointed cottage unit on the Strahan Esplanade with good harbour views. Dining either at Hotel restaurant [42 degrees] or pub hotel style meals [good value] adjacent to resort and owned by the RACT village.

Stayed for two nights of rest and relaxation, and even though the weather was very ordinary,we thoroughly enjoyed the Hilltop harbour view accommodation. The room was lovely and warm on arrival ,the bed the best we have encountered in hotels anywhere, and the buffet dinner in View 42 superb value for money. would happily recommend this place, we will be back.

A bit of a strange check in, friendly and helpful but situated at the bottom of a steep hill whilst the rooms and bar etc are quite a way up! However this does mean that the views from the bar are stunning, looking out over the pretty little port. The rooms were dated but clean and good enough for a...

Recently stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Tasmania. Found the hotel online but rang directly to book, fabulous king room with a view over the harbour at great price. Have stayed at all the RACT Hotels around Tassie and this has to be the best value for money. Thanks for an awesome stay in Strahan.

We enjoyed a night away in Strahan and stayed at Strahan Village in a spa room near the waterfront. The location was absolutely perfect - amazing views and right near the start point for the Gordon River Cruises. Our room was lovely and spacious with a big balcony overlooking the water that gave us a very beautiful view at night....
