We wanted to stay in a harbour view room and we had tried to book online prior to our arrival, as we were travelling with our daughter it wouldn't allow us to book 3 guests in the room. And there were only 2 available rooms left! When we arrived we went to reception to enquire about a harbour view room...

We spent two nights in one of the Village Waterfront Executive Rooms. The location is superb, overlooking Risby Cove and very near to shops, cafes, hotel etc. Check in was easy, all details correct, as was check out. The room was comfortable, some of the decor was a little dated, but nothing too shabby. The bathroom was large, with a...

A quiet and sleepy little fishing village on the fringes of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. The only thing that you can visit this place for is a cruise on the Gordon river! Another good thing to do would be to hire a boat and go fishing like the locals. I have done a lot of rail trips myself so...

Stayed here overnight after efficient check in. Warm comfortable rooms overlooking the harbour. Close to activities and eateries. Very noisy air/con motor outside somewhere. Very thin walls, could hear neighbours conversation. However we enjoyed our stay. Quite a long walk from the car park to our room.

We had a waterfront executive spa room which was a lovely room with a nice position on the harbour. Decor was a bit dated but very clean and welcoming room. Excellent facilities within a short walk of our room.

We had a room on the Esplanade, good position and not noisy as I expected. The rooms were awkward to get to. The room was designed to replicate an historic home but was a bit tired. Some things didn't work properly, the deck railing need painting and there were no cooking facilities. I was told that this accommodation was owned...

A very quite place. We stay in the Millers Terrace. Easy to get to places and laundry wasn't busy! Service to rooms very good. Only problem is power points not enough! But other than that the room good and the shower is good for pressure and the shower fairly big! This place is spread out and different rooms suits what...

Got really good rates for being an RACT member, so we stayed 3 nights. Rooms refreshed daily, ample space for bags, dining table, tidy bathroom, all it needs is a microwave and some cutlery/crockery and you'd be set.

We stayed one night at the Strahan Village, in the Miller's Terrace, just behind the first row of cottages. There was reserved parking for our motorcycles just near the terraces, and a short walk up the path to our rooms. The room was good, with a balcony in a garden setting. We were very happy with our accommodation at the...
