Absolutely wonderful views from this hotel. Friendly staff and there is lots to do in Strahan. The boat trip and train ride we highly recommend and would do again. Food at Risby Cove was great. It was very busy being the peak season when we were here but it truly was a memorable stay.

Hi dougblig Thanks for taking the time to post your review. A cruise on the Lady Jane Franklin II down the Gordon River is a must do when visiting Strahan. regards Brad Coelho

Strahan is the gateway to the Gordon so you have to stay at least one night. The village accommodation is not really value for money but adequate. Our small room had the basics but not overly comfortable . Bed good but squeaky bathroom door was annoying and even though I asked for wd40 not attendeed. Smell of bakerybelow was nice...

Strahan is an absolute must see when visiting Tasmania. Strahan Village is centrally located to all nearby attractions. Rooms are very comfortable (slightly outdated). Ghe restaurant is perfect for breakfast but a little overpriced for dinner. The view from the restaurant is spectacular

Stayed here 3 nights, in one of the 2 br cottages at the front overlooking the harbour. Acommadation was great and in an ideal position, leave the car parked at hotel and walk, little more than a 50-100 metre walk to the cruise operators and to various places to get brekky and dinner or just wander around. Staff also very...

We were allocated a cottage right on the front at Strahan which would have been sweet in different conditions. The Roaring Forties were roaring through that night. The hotel was very helpful in installing a table and chair to enable my husband to work, but in most other hotels there would have been something he could have used. The bathroom...

Fantastic location in the beautiful town of Strahan. We has a basic hilltop room facing the car park which was quite large, very clean and comfortable. The hilltop restaurant has a nice view of the town and is a nice place to relax. Overall a nice place to sty.

Enjoyed two pleasant nights at the hotel. Great location with views of the harbour & the small village hamlet below. My sister in law & I were able to wander up & down the stairs to the village below without needing to drive back down the hill. Our rooms were quite large & really comfortable, with a table & chairs...

Stayed two nights in a harbour view room. Most convenient accomodation in Strahan, as you can walk to cruises etc. We stayed off season so eating options at night were very limited as the hotel restaurant was closed in the evening during off season. Great views over the water from the balcony. Found the bedding not to be the most...

We stayed in a waterfront cottage and felt it well worth the extra. Great views and authentic West Coast feel. Plenty of room, clean and well appointed. Good service in Reception. Ask for any deals, as there was a good promotion on when we were there (lower rates), though not obvious from the web site

Loved this little village, we went to do the wilderness train, which was great, but the added bonus was the novel, well presented Strahan Village accommodation. The staff were lovely and the rooms were very clean. Lovely water views from our deck! Close to restaurants and nice walks. Highly recommend.
