This lovely Victorian house is set in a mature and shady garden, within walking distance of the main shopping street of Ulverstone. Annette and David were very friendly and obliging hosts, without being obtrusive. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated in keeping with the period of the house, there was a lovely guest sitting room with an open fire -...

We had a very nice overnight stay at Boscobel in late February. The room was very clean and pleasant and comfortable after a long day. The property was easy to find and has wonderful grounds. Annette is a wonderful host and provided us with a great stay and creative breakfast of wonderful French toast. I would stay again.

An old house beautifully renovated with modern amenities. Rooms are abit small but very comfortable and clean. If there's something you want just ask, lovely people own the house and cook a great breakfast that lasts you all day. Big garden out front which is a work in progress. You can walk to town but a cab only cost $7...

We have loved our stay with Annette and David in their beautifully restored gracious old home. It is still a work in progress. So comfortable and elegant and surrounded by glorious gardens. So looking forward to returning.

We had the best experience at Boscobel. The owners were both lovely, Annette in particular was so nice and accommodating - we arrived late at night due to a flight delay, and checked out late due to being sleepy and hungover from attending a wedding, but Annette was so sympathetic and unfazed - we really appreciated being allowed to have...

We stayed a couple of nights and it was lovely. Hostess was great. Made us a delicious breakfast. Close to town. Would absolutely recommend it. The one and only downer would be the stairs for older people. Fit people no worries.

We stayed a night - were made welcome by the owners as soon as we arrived. Large and comfortable room. Complimentary drinks from the fridge, and a decanter of port in the room was a nice touch. The breakfast was very nice. Choice of accompaniments to go with the eggs . Home made bread, home made preserves. Set us up...

Spent our first night in Tasmania here in March 2013, what a lovely introduction to our two week holiday. The hosts are lovely people, very welcoming and the complimentary beer and port is a nice touch. Our room was spacious and clean although the soft furnishings and carpets could do with replacing, bed a little hard but that seems to...

I had lived in Ulverstone for more than 20 years and always wondered what was down the tree-lined driveway off South Road. Having been away for a year, it was nice to come back and visit friends and use Boscobel as a base, being just 10 minutes walk from the town. The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable--and prepared a...
