easy off the interstate. Bob Evans across the street. Coffee pot always on. Beds comfy and the shower is very good. Our room first floor quiet. Internet working and free. Parking a little hazardous coming in on a short pot holed street but otherwise safe and convenient.

Pulled off the highway, tired of driving for one day. Parking lot to the right is gravel. Lot in front of the building needs paving. It Seemed to have ok reviews. Took a chance. Lobby is uncomfortable hot, furniture askew. Check in took a couple minutes and the place was cheap. Staff has zero smiles or excitement when welcoming you to the establishment. No elevator, carry your bags up the flight of stairs. Staircase needs a good scrubbing. It's a dirty place.. Halls are uncomfortable hot as well. Room was surprisingly better than I expected. No carpet. Fairly clean. Room 211. Beds are comfy. AC works well. There were sunflower seeds loose on the bed and fragments of chips like the maid had her snacks sitting there or something. Door lock broken and coming off the wall, that clasp lock...but the others were functioning. The faucet ot turn on the water comes off in your hand, so pay attention when you turn the water on. Cable and wifi are good. The room is a smoking room, which was ok because I smoke, but I was surprised the option even exists nowadays. Not the cleanest room, but i had my covid cleaning supplies with me and gave the room a good once over with my products and my lysol. The window still opens all the way, which is a safety hazard of you have small children, which I don't. Still be wary when you book. I've stayed worse places.

We had to spend a night here because a storm knocked our electric out. all the other hotels were full going the other direction but we had no problem getting in here, because the power was only on generator you had to bring cash, no cards so we went to the atm at the truck stop right across the street, i have lung disease so i had to find a hotel, this hotel was very clean & nice. it had all the basics, 2 beds that were very clean w/linens, nice bathroom, very well cleaned with a sun lamp to help you dry off. it was so nice! i think it had a coffee maker but we just went right across the street cause there a Bob Evans Popeyes Chicken, a barber shop & a small store where you can buy pre made sandwiches, chips, candy or whatever you need, It is in a very good area with low crime. to the person saying someone was trying to break into her room, it was probably someone who drank too much & tried to open the door to the wrong room. its not that uncommon for that to happen. its right off the freeway but far away enough from it so there is no noise. the front desk was very friendly & helpful. it was nice to go to this budget hotel that had everything we needed, AC, wifi, hairdryer. a table with 2 chairs. it is right around the corner from Buckeye Lake and not far from the National Trails Raceway. i think we paid only $75 per night. we will stay again if ever need a room. and NO bugs!! i always check real good. free 24 hour coffee in lobby. pets stay free. free parking & wifi & hbo.

The price may be appealing but your best/safest bet is going to be at another hotel. My sister and I stayed on the first floor after being stormed in on our road trip. Around 5:20am we woke up to someone attempting to open the door. This went on for about a minute before we got up and started making noise. It was not room service or another guest. There is an unlocked door in this hallway that leads outside. So it's very easy for someone not staying here to come in and attempt to get in rooms. Very unsafe we will never return.

Thank you for taking time and leave a review because your feedback is very important for us to know where we are lacking and make corrections and improve the property. I really apologize that you did not feel safe at our property because of side door was unlock in the morning. I am sorry and make sure that we get that lock at night time. we have cameras in the hallways, front desk attendant is 24 hours and it is very safe . Once again I am sorry about your inconvenience and we will take the corrective measures so that this does not happen in future.

I was in the area on business and picked this hotel to stay at. It is just off the high way and about 20 minutes from the job sight. The price was main reason to pick this hotel. The room was clean and everything worked. I will be back to this hotel next week and will keep this Red Roof in mind when in the area again.
