It meets every need we have. Clean, comfortable, fridge, microwave. It has super easy access to your car. If your just crashing for the night or it's home base while your investigate the numerous points of interest around Lebanon. It's worked great for the wife and I, we'll be back!
This was our 2nd stay at the Shaker Inn. We were able to walk to town to see the Horsedrawn Carriage Parade, an annual event that occurs on the 1st Saturday in December. The Shaker is clean and comfortable, with a small fridge in the room. Front office staff is friendly and they have coffee available in the morning. Would stay there again.
I stayed here Christmas Eve and Christmas night while my wife stayed at our son in laws five minutes away. I smoke and no soking around our grandchild. This simple motel was good to me. Gave me a king at the end of their property so I could just smoke in a field next to me room. Bare bones rooms with no fridge, microwave but it was clean and they treated me great and the price was like $70 a night. Perfect for our situation and when I had to go back home a day early they refunded me the third night which I really appreciated. If you want a safe place with nothing extra but a room two minutes from downtown, this is it. Family run for years and I have stayed here four times in the last eight years.
I stayed in a small one-queen unit. It was OK for the price, but just OK. It's old, and plain, and stingily-appointed (tiny TV, fridge but no microwave or coffee maker, no waste basket in the bathroom, awful one-ply toilet paper, a small packet of tissue paper instead of a box, rackety bathroom fan and air conditioner). It was reasonably clean, the bed was comfortably firm, and there was a good, strong flow from the shower head. Good channel line-up, including the HBO package, on the aforementioned miniature TV. Just don't try to watch anything with subtitles, 'cause you won't see 'em. It's a great location if all of your activities are in Lebanon. Otherwise, I'm not sure why anyone would want to stay there.
The location was where we wanted to be. This is a locally owned older Inn but was clean and the staff was friendly. This place fit our needs well. We were initially hesitant to book but location and reviews won us over and we took the plunge. This Inn could certainly use some updating and there were no amenities to speak of but the bed was comfortable. All of the linens were clean and seemed new. If you want to be in Lebanon, give them a try!
