House on Harmar Hill transports you back to an earlier time where the pace is a bit slower, the attention to detail is sharper, and graciousness reigns. Our 2 night stay included a very comfy king-size bed, showers in an antique claw-footed tub with wonderful soaps (details), amazing breakfasts, and great conversation with Judy, the owner & host as well...

I stayed at the House on Harmar Hill for a week in March-2017 with three coworkers. There are many elements that made this a sweet place to stay. The owner fully restored the house to it's original architecture and interior design from the radiators, hand carved door frames (original wood), fire places, bath tubs, and most of the furniture. The...

The house was "You have heard this saying."You could eat off the floors" well, this is one of those places. It was an amazing few days. The breakfasts were well presented and delicious. For the last fourteen years, three couples have individually planned and carried out the get away week-end. This is one of the top three, and we had planned it because of the historic value and curiosity and what we could learn. It was fantastic. Our arrival to our abode was super. The breakfast was top draw. The cost was good...

I had no idea what to expect- as I had not read reviews before I came, but what I found was a wonderful place to rest. Judy and Doug are great. The rooms are peaceful and lovely. The breakfasts are a feast that could hold you through the entire day. I stayed there for 7 days while building a wood...

This is a beautiful old mansion, located on a high ridge, with a panoramic view of the confluence of the Ohio and Muskingum Rivers, as well as the city of Marietta. It has a very big porch, where you can sit outside and relax and enjoy the wonderful view. The craftsmanship on the exterior and interior of the home is...

We were visiting Marietta for a Saturday evening Ohio River boat cruise on the Valley Gem Sternwheeler and stayed the night at the House on Harmar Hill. This B&B is delightful! This Victorian home has been lovingly maintained and decorated with beautiful artifacts from all over the world. The Innkeeper, Judy, is the perfect hostess. The rooms are like stepping...
