This was a great place to stay (I was in the B&B itself) with very friendly and personable hosts, who were keen to make my stay comfortable and interesting. It had all the charm of the best of my stays at farms, even though it is no longer a working farm - true countryside hospitality. John took me for a...

We stayed at the Four Oaks Cabin. It was very quaint for two people. John the owner was fun to talk with and he was helpful of restaurants and things to do in the area. We went in February so we chose not to have a fire outside but the hot tub was nice. The driveway is very steep so...

Our family of 5 found Bit of Country online and decided to give it a try. The owners were so friendly to work with! Our first impression on arrival was the immaculate cleanliness of the cabin. Not even the slightest bit of dust anywhere! We loved the privacy of the 4 Oaks cabin, being nestled among scenic farmland. Yet, we...

We stayed in the bed and breakfast which is the owners' own home. Warm welcome , hearty home cooked breakfast, comfortable room with balcony. It was a delight to stay here with such wonderful hosts. The room is in the open loft as previously mentioned by another reviewer but this did not bother us at all.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for two nights in the Four Oaks Cabin. WOW is all we can say. The cabin was built by owner John Weaver. The cabin is immaculate. So clean. The hot tub was perfect after a long hike. The gas fire place heated up the cabin very quickly and created a nice atmosphere. The area...

I loved staying in the cabins. It was peaceful and John and Nina Weaver are great hosts. They have well-maintained cut trails throughout their property, which were nice to walk on. One of my favorite parts of staying there was sitting on their deck and looking at all of the hummingbirds. They are close to the caves but also Lake...

Had 4 wonderful days at Bit of Country cabins. Great place to relax after hiking in Hocking Hills. The hot tub was just the thing to help the sore muscles. Cabin was just perfect for my husband and I. John our host even provided the firewood for our campfire. John was also very informative and welcoming. Loved sitting on the...

It was our second stay at Bit of Country cabins. We LOVE this cabin. Love the tranquil, quiet way it is nestled off the road. And love the hot tub after an afternoon of exploring the area. John and Nina have a winner!!

My girlfriend took me on a hiking/zipline adventure for my birthday this year and she also rented us the Four Oaks cabin at Bit of Country. This cabin is far enough from the main house and other cabin that you feel comfortable and relaxed to do what you want. The cabin itself is nice inside but probably not big enough...

My wife and I stayed at the Four Oaks cabin for two nights. There are many cabin options in the Hocking Hills area, but this fit the bill for us -- good location close to the hiking trails, reasonable price, kitchen (almost a necessity -- not much in the way of restaurants close by). The bed was a little soft...
