Me and husband were having our anniversary and decided to explore Jogja. We stayed here a night before headin Gunung Kidul. When Jawa culture meet Islamic vibe. As we loved history. This hotel keep one of the best traditional architecture and nuansa (for an affordable hotel in city with accomodation competition surround). Plus sound of Quran recitation in hotel public...

Looks the hotel is old, can be seen from the building and the lobby hotel. One i love about this hotel is its so islamic and the friendly hotel staff. But the room i think needs more renovation and upgrade their beds.

Dirty sheets, cracks in the walls, geckos everywhere, rotting doors on the bathrooms, graffiti and drawing on the walls, crumbs and ants and spillage from previous people were there to meet us when we arrived. What was once a quaint, gorgeous place is now completely delapidated. We stayed elsewhere for our second night because we were so disgusted. Avoid at...

We arrived by taxi and the driver was surprised we stay in this hotel because not much people stay there. (not a good sign) We went inside and the reception looked very old and not clean. We checked in and got the key. When we arrived the room we were shocked how old and dirty everything was. Furniture was broken,...

This hotel has a very run down appearance, and it is an old hotel, too, built in 1977. However, the rooms are very big and airy, well kept and clean. The bathroom is old but clean, bed is soft, with clean linens and acceptable pillows. Each room has its own veranda and is facing the inner courtyard. This is a...

I stayed in the hotel for 3 days and two nights. The room was quite big and clean. The bellboy was nice and helpfull while all staffs are very friendly. The breakfast was so so and it was located quite far from Malioboro and city center. It cost about 30thousand rupiah to take cab from hotel to Malioboro.

We had a fabulous time while staying in Sriwedari (Resort) hotel during our trip to Yogyakarta in May 2011. The hotel is just a few kilometers away from the city airport and conveniently located at the main road itself. A big shopping Mall Ambarukmo having all the branded stuff and eatery is walkable from the hotel. Though the Hotel's reception...

Clean and Big rooms with a nice big bathroom. The hotel is huge inside (doesn't look that big from the outside) with cottage style rooms built around a nice garden. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel also has a nice plunge pool and ample parking space inside. However, we had taken 3 rooms there and 2 out of those...

We were a group of 7 friends traveling to Borobudur, Prambanan & the Merapi volcano and needed to stay a night in Jogjakarta. We ended up staying at Sri Wedari as it falls right along the main road to Merapi/Borobudur & the airport (walk-in booking). The hotel's location along the main road is its salient point. The rooms are basic...
