Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here back in November, so when we were looking at hotels for our weekend trip to Cleveland, we decided to stay here again! This time, I used the Hilton Honors app to check in and check out, so I didn’t really interact with anyone. Our room was very clean and pretty large. There were shampoo, conditioner in the bathrooms and we had plenty of towels. The walls are pretty thin, same as last time, so you can hear anyone who is coming in and out of rooms nearby and people above you, although it was pretty mild during our stay. Overall, it was great for a one night stay and we would come back again.

I don't give many reviews but there was no way I would miss out on the chance to sing the praises of the AMAZING team at Oakwood Village.
I could not have asked for anyone more personable. Gloria, Julia, Mike (?), Angel--absolutely everyone I encountered was attentive and helpful, from the front desk to the kitchen staff. The lady who checked us in (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) was completely patient during my endless search for my credit card. Without our asking,Gloria was kind enough to grab a yogurt and a bagel for my mother when she heard Mom hadn't eaten in several hours. I actually feel like we made friends with a couple of the team members.
The lobby was always immaculate and the room clean. Someone was vacuuming the lobby when I went downstairs to do some work, which demonstrated the company's commitment to excellence.
If I had to choose an area of opportunity it would just pertain to the structure. We could hear every footstep overhead, but I consider this menial given how excellent everything else was. We have to go back to Cleveland in a couple of days and already rebooked with the Hilton.
This is so much closer to my grandmother's home than the Beachwood location. So happy to have this hotel in the area!

Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Location is convenient to highway in a safe area and parking lot was full indicating many guests were staying here. Room darkening curtains allowed us to sleep in late. Ice machines were working well. Lobby is spacious, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Only complaint is that pool was unavailable due to COVID-19 and that breakfast service was very slow. Buffet is closed but pickup options were available. It took 15 minutes for employee to prepare a simple egg muffin sandwich; however staff were friendly and coffee/tea/cocoa service was available near front desk as well as hand sanitizers. I would stay here again and I’m sure when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, it will be “normal.”

The service at this hotel is the worst I've ever experienced at a Hilton property. I understand that businesses are understaffed but that's no reason to treat your guests poorly. After a long day of traveling, I realized there was no linen in the room for the sofa bed. I spoke to the general hotel manager about it and he refused to provide sufficient linen for the sofa bed. Also, I received an email from Hilton a few days prior to my trip indicating that I could have my room cleaned daily or completely opt out. When I inquired during check-in, the manger indicated that rooms are cleaned every 3 days which contradicts the information Hilton provided. He said it's a pandemic and the cost of things aren't getting any cheaper for him. Who tells their guests this? The manner in which he handled this situation was completely unprofessional. Not to mention, it was difficult to get any rest. The walls are paper thin and you can hear doors slamming 24/7. The carpeting in the elevators and hallways was filthy. The hotel pool is closed due to the pandemic but they offer a breakfast buffet. That was a little confusing but, wasn't a problem as I hadn't planned to use either. I tried to get assistance from Hilton guest assistance both during and after my stay and they just gave me the run around. It seems that Hilton does not value their guests anymore or hold their staff accountable for their actions. I would suggest that you steer away from this hotel and Hilton brand if possible.

After unsuccessfully searching to find a hotel in the airport area, this hotel came up and it had great reviews and reasonable rates. The check in process was very easy and quick, the front desk staff was consistently friendly. Our room was really clean and spacious. There was a breakfast offered as well as laundry facilities, I didn’t take advantage of either due to an early morning flight. My only two complaints is that we could hear the people above us walking around and it was pretty loud and the parking lot had cones everywhere right where you were supposed to drive through. Not sure if it was marked off for construction or not. The distance from the airport is about 20 minutes or so, so it’s a good choice if you have someone dropping you off! It’s also about 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland, so close to the attractions and stadiums. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay and would recommend this hotel!

Life Celebration of My Son
The Hampton Inn was accommodating understanding as very patient with my family as they all checked in to their suites. The manager gave me a great rate and the Assistant manager helped with the modifications. It was a great experience.

It was quiet the beds were really comfortable. if I walked out into the lobby to the outside or even when I came back in I was always acknowledged and greeted by name. Everyone was extremely nice, even when we were lounging out in the lobby it was 30 of us. When we were watching television, we were never told to quiet down, we were too loud, it was too many of us, they literally allowed us to mourn and grieve out there in the lobby with each other. I don't believe anyone felt uncomfortable. This was a great experience.

During our visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we opted to stay just outside of Cleveland, which proved to be an ideal choice.
The staff at the accommodation was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, and our room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated in a pleasant neighborhood.
The convenient location was only a short drive to Cleveland, making it easily accessible, and I would certainly choose to stay there again in the future.
Unlike hotels in Cleveland that charge $30-$50 per night for parking, this option did not have that additional cost, which was a significant factor in my decision-making process.

I made an online reservation for a room at this property with my Hilton honors app several weeks before my stay. I called and spoke to the hotel the day of check- in to provide a updated credit card information and was told “thank you and we will see you this evening”. When I showed up at the hotel, I was told the hotel was oversold and they only had a room with No A/C available on an 80 degree day. I declined and they offered me no help to finding another nearby property or any other real solutions to my issue! Why would management not call me before hand or at the very least contact me to let me know the situation before I drove 2 hrs to there! What a joke management is at this property! Do yourself a favor and don’t book a stay here because who knows if you will even have a room available when you show up to check in.

We stay at Hampton Inns everywhere we go and are Diamond members. We checked into this hotel at 10pm. The lobby seemed nice as well as the man working the front desk. Once we were in our room, it sounded like the people above us were running back and forth stomping their feet over and over again. At first we thought it was small kids and figured they’d go to bed soon. It was still going on at midnight. We aren’t one to complain about other guests, but by 3am, we couldn’t take it anymore. It sounded like people jumping, running, having a party etc directly above us. When I went downstairs to the front desk to complain, there were three teenagers talking to the front desk attendant. As I exited the elevator, I heard the attendant tell them if there were anymore complaints, they would have to leave. When I told her the issue when I got to the desk, she looked at them and said , “see, I told you. I’ve had people in that area of the hotel complaining all night. You guys need to quiet down.” She assured me it was taken care of and to let her know if there were more issues. About 20 minutes later she called to see if it had stopped and I told her it was still happening. At about 3:45am when nothing had changed, my husband went down and she told him she had called the cops. By about 4am, there was no more noise. Needless to say we got no sleep and would have been better off sleeping in our car. For the $200+ we spent on the room, it would have been nice to get some sleep and have the issue taken care of after the first person complained and not several hours later. I would not recommend staying here.

I am so sorry that you had this experience while staying at our hotel. This is certainly not the type of experience we wish for any one of our guests to have. I will have a long conversation with our team members at our next meeting to ensure that we are all on the same page. Our guests need to always be our number one priority. Thank you for being so detailed in your description, it will assist me in addressing each issue with our staff.
