Stayed here two nights, Saturday afternoon seemed deserted but lobby great place to study/read. Can walk everywhere in town and Oberlin College Afmissions attached to hotel. Quiet, clean. Very enjoyable stay.
This is a great hotel -- really nicely appointed, clean, lovely! Also not all that expensive considering how nice it is. The staff was great. There's a nice restaurant on the ground floor that is quite good too. I would absolutely stay here again!
Loved the hotel, the delicious upscale menu at the 1883 restaurant, the room and the price! Will go back when down that way. Staff service all around was awesome too. Nestled downtown in a quaint college town, this hotel was a delight to find.
I have never had a disappointing experience here, and will continue to come back. Great restaurant, helpful staff, pleasantly colorful and comfortable lobby areas, beautiful rooms, convenient to EVERYTHING in Oberlin.

There is still construction going on although demolition of the adjacent building seems to be complete and sidewalks leading up to the entrances have been installed -- it's easier to find your way into The Hotel. I would... More
There is still construction going on although demolition of the adjacent building seems to be complete and sidewalks leading up to the entrances have been installed -- it's easier to find your way into The Hotel. I would definitely ask the staff about the time construction starts in the morning AND ask for a room on the "quiet" (street) side of the building.
