We stayed here thinking it's the center of town which would be perfect. The hotel room was $300 a night. The elevator and hallway smelled absolutely horrible, it is stained and looks like it has never been shampooed or vacuumed. The night club that's attached makes the hall noisy from the drunks walking down the hall instead of going down...

Although the location of this hotel is ideal, it is filthy dirty. The elevator and stairwells smell like cat urine. The carpet on the stairs was actually black. The rooms as well have a bad odor. No room service to give clean towels. You have to ask. For the price of this hotel, I would expect much more. We ended...

Got charged $200 for what they said was a smoking charge when there was no smokers in our room? They have no actual testing method besides claiming someone smelled smoke. Might seem like a cheap option but i would have rather paid more money and stayed somewhere more reliable. you get what you pay for and sometimes you have to...

On a weekend trip with a Michigan Boat Club on the Jet Express we checked in to our room to find a funky smell of mildew. Talk to our other friends next door same thing left the door open to try and get some fresh air. Beds were from the stone age not comfortable (OLD) This morning go to take...

Loved staying here!! They have a small little margarita bar off the lobby that makes some great drinks! The location is great everything is right there within walking distance. We can't wait to book our trip for this summer!!

I am appalled at the conditions of the "Grand Islander"...it's a multitude of horrible...when you walk in the smell of must and pee hits you as soon as you journey down the hall to your room...the front desk people are incompetent to say the least, we had 2 rooms rented and had to assist her with her incompetent confusion in...

The location of the Grand Islander is perfect. You can walk to the ferry, restaurants, bars, boardwalk, etc. No need to rent a golf cart if you just want to stay in the main area. The swim-up pool bar is really neat, and the bartenders were very friendly, but the pool needs a little tending to, it was always very...

I wasn't in charge of making reservations or anything for this trip and I didn't read up on this hotel before our trip so this is my honest opinion when I walked in. Just because Put In Bay is a party area doesn't mean I want to sleep in a frat house environment. For $300 a night they should do...

Definitely outdated. The stairway and hallways smell like urine and musty. Although the dance club is attached to hotel and our room was near it, it was quiet. Clerks were courteous and helpful. Hotel is close to the square to walk to. Will try a different hotel next time

The bad: sheets had stains on them. The hot tub jets do not have much pressure and management does not turn the jets on until later in the day. Beer prices are somewhat high, but I guess you are paying for the atmosphere. The Splash pool water looks quite dirty; however, the other pools looked clean while I was there....
