We spent another weekend at Glenlaurel to end out the summer and celebrate our anniversary and had a quiet and relaxing weekend. As usual, the staff took great care of us and the breakfasts and dinners were off the charts. We will most certainly return and are looking at trying to find a winter weekend to get away.

Glenlaurel is a wonderful place to get awway from the hectic life and enjoy a combination of a beautiful setting in the Hocking Hills of south central Ohio. There is hiking, a Scottish style golf course(8 holes) which requires the golfer to use the hickory shafted clubs of aBobby Jones era. The balls are dimpled, but hollow. So, its a...

We stayed for a few weeknights recently in the Macintosh cottage. Found the accommodations to be first rate. Clean, comfortable, and up-to date. Plenty of room too - separate bedroom and living room as well as a small kitchenette and deck with hot-tub and privacy fence. Included breakfast was top-notch as were our optional dinners. All in all a wonderful...

We spent a quiet Sunday Night @ Glen laurel. The evening meal we paid extra for was Very nice! However, the Croft we spent the night in was worn and very dated. I have stayed at quite a few nights in select Registry top notch inns. BBBBButtt, for the PRICE we paid I was not impressed. Décor was worn 1990...

Thanks for letting us know about your visit. We have been updating all of the 20 accommodations with new furniture, fixtures, bedding, flooring, and artwork. All four of the east croft bathrooms have been updated as well. It’s a full time job for us and our carpet cleaners. Perhaps you stayed in the Drummond? It’s a work in progress. Being...

My wife and I have become big fans of Select Registry properties, and through their directory, we found the Glenlaurel Inn when planning a trip to the Hocking Hills of Ohio. This is a unique property - with a manor house (where we stayed), several cottages and crofts, a traditional Scottish links golf course (8 holes), and extensive hiking trails...

Who knew about this wonderful place nestled in the hills of Southeastern Ohio. The grounds were immaculate. The service was top notch. From the ladies at the desk and our wonderful waitresses that assisted us during the three day retreat. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as time at the pub. We even had a campfire and enjoyed...

I had been coveting a trip to this magical venue for a couple of years. After my 65th birthday, I decided to indulge myself with my own holiday at Glenlaurel. My love and I were not disappointed. This is the perfect location to pamper yourself and surrender to the incredibly beautiful accommodations, thoughtful and attentive staff, and the most sumptuous...

Our stay was perfect in every way. From innkeeper Tracy to server Serena and everyone in between we were very well cared for. The beautiful grounds made us feel like we were in bonnie Scotland! We didn't have dinner on property, but if the porridge, scones and breakfast entrees are any indication, the chef is on top of his game...

This past weekend we returned to Glen Laurel for the second time. It is truly one of my favorite places. As soon as you are on the grounds you can start to unwind surrounded by peace and beauty. We have stayed in both the east and west Crofts , although I preferred the layout of the east Crofts, both are...
