We stayed two nights at the SpringHill Suites in Solon while visiting the area. The reception staff greeted us warmly and gave excellent information about all we needed to know about our room, the breakfast times and location, other services at the hotel such as the pool, and most helpfully, how to navigate around the area. Our room was immaculate, extremely comfortable, and quiet, and had everything we could possibly need for amenities. The shower pressure was great after a day of exploring Cuyahoga National Park trails. We met cleaning staff in the hallway one day, and kitchen staff during breakfast, and all were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

This is your typical suburban hotel, nothing flashy about it but it gets the job done. Rooms are fine, though something about the layout makes them feel a bit smaller than average and I wish there were more drawers for storing belongings. I still don't understand why so many hotels don't keep linens in the room for the trundle bed, but a stop at the front desk solved that minor issue quickly. Beds are quite comfortable so we slept well. This was despite some noise made by a hockey team staying here, which the front desk took care of promptly. Most importantly, the room was very clean.
Pool area was nice, with a larger than average indoor pool for this type of hotel and included a hot tub.
Breakfast offerings were handled very well with your choice of various items, boxed up for you on the spot free of charge.
While it's not a 5-star rating due to some misses as noted above, it's still a good option for most. Especially if you're a family of five and need the extra mattress from the trundle bed. We slept well, it's clean, fairly up-to-date, and the staff is very friendly.

Staying here was the best hotel experience I can remember having in recent years (as someone who cannot afford luxury hotels, that is). The room was spacious, comfortable, and everything was clean and in good condition. The staff attended to my every request, and made it look easy.

Nice hotel if you are staying in the area. Nice pool and fitness center. I liked the Market to pick up snacks and wine or beer. Pretty bare bones hotel. Breakfast was ok but couldn’t do it for more then two mornings. Just can’t eat my hot oatmeal out of a paper bowl with a plastic spoon for too long. The rooms were clean and quiet. Have to ask for housekeeping services when you check in if you want anything done the next day. Make sure you read the tiny print on the bottles in the shower for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, before you turn the water on or your face gets a power washing from the shower water.

While I was out on business the cleaning person stole 2 gift cards from the desk in my room. I told the girl at the front desk the next morning when I went to check out. She said she would have her manager call me and of course no one did. They were only worth about $40 but its the principle and they would have a record of who cleaned my room. Obviously its not an issue for them. Also, I stayed for 3 nights and the shampoo was never replaced in my room. The room was clean and comfortable, but I will never go back.

Once again when it comes to a question of missing items from a guest room, no matter the value of the item, we take the situation very serious. We try our best to do as much research, investigating, and of course sensitivity towards the guest and our associate who might be in question. I wanted to make sure I was aware of all the information before reaching out to you. I hope that it does bring you peace of mind that this type of situation is not a norm at our property with having many long term associates. We also explored other avenues such as looking in the trash cans, drawers, under bed, etc. In the end, it is never our intend to make our guests feel uncomfortable in any way and for this I am truly sorry. We were also very happy we were able to return your gift cards back to you. We want to thank you for being our guest and hope you will come back and visit us if your travels bring you back to the Cleveland/Solon area.

Clean lobby area, room, bathroom, and common areas within the suite. The front desk is set up for social distancing during check in and check out. The pool is currently closed and I understand why, but it was still disheartening.
All hotel staff I encountered was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. Additionally, the suite-style room gives you everything you need at an affordable rate! I highly recommend and can’t wait to personally stay again myself!

Checked in with Sarah, was so quick and pleasant. Room: was clean, specious, but the design is annoying. You have one tv in the middle between the sofa bed and the bed itself! So one corner can watch at a time!! Very weird!
Bathroom:The sink is outside the toilets, still can’t understand why hotels are doing so! Toilet has some rusted corners. Molds here and there in the bathroom which can make use of better cleaning. Sofa bed: wasn’t comfortable at all
The view was little dull toward the parking and some manufacturing depots i guess.
Breakfast: too limited and the hot items were cold
Location:good center for many destinations and good dining options nearby
Cons: Walls too thin.. too much noise from the bathroom plumps, hall and other rooms.

We stayed her last night, great hotel, pet friendly and excellent service. Room was clean, beds comfortable and hotel staff was excellent. We needed a bottle opener and they ripped the place apart looking for one for us to borrow. Hotel was super busy so we where worried about our dog barking but once in our first floor room you couldn't hear a thing!

We were in town to show our oldest daughter where she grew up, and had a great stay. Front Desk and the Morning Breakfast hotel were friendly, efficient, and just pleasant people to deal with. The pool was open with reservation, so our kids were able to enjoy that amenity. Great location in Solon, just a couple minutes from the freeway.. The price was on par for the location, no fears here..

I stayed here recently for 2 nights while daughter's hockey team played in the area. The team also stayed at the hotel.
The rooms are very nice and fairly clean although the pull out couch had not been opened and it had dirty sheets on it.
Fairly quiet although some thumping noises in room.
Coffee maker was good and handy but the creamer packets had been opened so no creamer, not enough and only 1 regular coffee and lots of decaf????
No extra bedding or blankets in the room for the pull out bed or even if the main beds needed an extra blanket, that would have been nice. My daughters hockey team all had to ask the front desk for bedding for the pullout couches and even then they didn't have sheets and only 1 scratchy blanket and pillow so that was not acceptable.
The breakfast was good - although the toaster caught on fire one morning and smoked the place out pretty good. That was odd as they took it away and cleaned it and brought it back and it still smoked.........
I would stay here again but make sure I had all the essentials - ie: needed toilet paper, bedding, coffee and creamer essentials before I went to bed so I knew I had everything beforehand and not in a pinch early in the morning.
Decent location near a sandwich place and steakhouse which was apparently very good.
AC was kinda loud but if you turned heater off, you would freeze and need extra blankets, but there weren't any. Pillows were very nice.
Definitely some pros and cons. Staff very friendly!!

I do not know if there are lactose free items. That is a better question for the hotel management. We always stay at Spring Hill when we travel to Cleveland to visit relatives.
The hotel works with various transportation companies to make the commute easy for our guests. The closest restaurant with a bar within walking distance is one block from the hotel.
There are more places to choose from in the Solon area.
