This historic house located about 5 miles from downtown Springfield has 4 bedrooms, and the owners have built new "tree houses" and a cottage on the property. We were upgraded to the William Hunt Suite as the room we had reserved had plumbing problems. The room is large and the bed was comfortable. But it lacked some things you expect...

We recently planned a bicycle trip with friends along the Little Miami Scenic Trail, and spent 2 nights with Theresa and her staff at the Simon Kenton Inn. We spent one night in "the barn" and the next night in one of the "tree houses'. Both rooms were wonderful. The barn had a jacuzzi tub to relax sore muscles from...

We stayed at the Simon Kenton Inn on 9/7 and it was a wonderful treat after a long day's drive. Theresa warmly greeted us and we were shown the main house and accommodations. Theresa has that personality that once you meet her you are friends forever. Such a delight. Our room was the master bedroom and we had a beautiful...

I am amazed at a couple of the bad reviews on here, because I have NEVER had a bad experience at this place and it makes me wonder if they're talking about the same place I am. I've had dinner, Sunday brunch, and now a full-blown wedding and reception here and things have literally been the best they could be....

Theresa wants to have a nice place, but needs to hire someone who has experience in food and beverage. Weak drinks, poor food quality and presentation, lack of wait staff organization, and she is very defensive if you try to talk to her.You are promised things, but it's not delivered. Sad, it could be a beautiful , unique place.

Theresa runs a tight ship. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Theresa and her staff do a great job making you feel at home. And like Inns of History, they have a great restaurant too. The rooms in the old farmhouse are quite charming.

If I could give no stars I would. The owner of this establishment is the rudest woman I have ever met. My friends paid for a wedding here until 11pm and she made the guests leave early. She also lied about Ohio Liquor laws to get people to leave. The Staff is nice but the owner should not be allowed...

We had a wedding reception in the Inn in December, and Theresa and her staff pulled off a perfect event for us. I loved the food and got many positive comments about it from guests. Working with Theresa to plan the event was a breeze, and it was so nice to just show up to our party and see that...

We were very pleased with everything about the Inn. We ended up booking all the rooms in the Inn for my son's wedding celebration. We were delighted with not only the history of the Inn,but also how comfortable and updated the rooms are. The food was great for our celebration and the Sunday brunch was wonderful. We would highly recommend...

We stayed one night here and it was very nice and clean. All the wait staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. We will stay there again! Quiet setting on the outskirts of the city. Nice bar area and plenty of seating on their two outdoor patios.
