We stayed at The Grange as a last minute booking and managed to get the last room available. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was of a very high standard. The room was spacious with a large wet room. The breakfast was excellent and we could not have asked for more from our stay. We would...

We stayed here the day after our wedding. Having said goodbye to all our guests and deposited many of them at the station I wanted to stay somewhere nice before we went off the following day on our low key honeymoon in a 30 year old campervan. We had the bridal suite which was lovely. We arrived at our room...

Easy to find in a small charming village. The setting and grounds and excellent. The staff were very friendly and professional. Good menu choices which were well presented in a very pleasant restaurant with a view of the gardens. Would thoroughly recommend it plus a short stroll to the adjoining small church.

We stayed here to visit friends in Dorset and also to attend the Glastonbury Festival (about 45 mins drive away). The hotel is very traditional and has friendly staff. The best thing about this hotel is that it's so peaceful and quiet as it's down a country lane and so there is no traffic noise. We had room 1, a...

We stayed here to attend a wedding locally. We had room 10 a garden room that was spacious and very clean. Lovely lounge area and dinner and breakfast was excellent. However what really stood out was the staff and how friendly they were. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Well located hotel in nice quite village for touring Dorset.Good rooms, good service generally by varied younger staff and very welcoming.Food good but for a longer stay dinner menu too limited;greater variety required for top marks so take note if staying beyond 3 days as menu and specials offered too repetitive

Went there for a wedding and stayed two nights, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very helpful and attentive staff, who kindly agreed to take delivery of the wedding present ahead of my arrival (thank you!). Lovely breakfast, even better wedding breakfast, and a bar that is well-stocked with 20 or so single malts, and a wide range of liqueurs and...

This is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are fantastic. We only stayed for one night, but will going back to stay for a longer period in the near future. The staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was really nice and there was plenty of choice. If you are looking for a break in...

Comfortable and quiet, with excellent food and delightful staff. Two minor observations: 1, Our bedroom had only one armchair although there was enough space for a second one. 2. A first course (dinner) of gravadlax and couscous was rather meagre, with two very small pieces of salmon plus a small dollop of couscous - as it was so good, a...
