My husband and I stayed at the Burr House while he explored the fishing spots on the Maumee River. Our room (The Bridal Suite), the food and the hospitality were top-notch. We will definitely return and try one of the other rooms. The Japanese Room looks especially inviting.

The burr house quickly turned into our home away from home! The hospitality and attention to detail are wonderful perks to the clean and comfortable place to rest! Cheryl is the best and most accommodating hostess and cook to top it all off!!

We stayed at this bed & breakfast while we were visiting family. It's located in a housing development, but surrounded on three sides by a cornfield, so it felt rural. Breakfast was wonderful! But we really enjoyed the evenings sitting around the fire pit under the covered patio. A special area in the kitchen for guests: refrigerator with water and...

What a wonderful place to stay not far off of I-80 as we traveled to Michigan. Cheryl made us feel right at home, even letting us put our bicycles in their garage as we headed out to eat dinner at a local place she recommended. We stayed in the Elizabeth room, which shares a bathroom that was no problem. They...

We can't stop telling people what a great experience it was to be pampered at Burr House during the week of the Fulton County Fair. The catered dinner, a new breakfast surprise every day, elegant table settings, the cookie jar, cold drinks in the fridge, spacious and comfortable common areas, not to mention the spacious bedrooms themselves with comfortable beds....

My husband and I visited in May 2013 for a weekend getaway. This place is wonderful! You will not be disappointed! My gluten-free diet was catered to and the whole place is very clean and inviting. The only down side was sharing a bathroom with other travelers.

We stopped here one cold and wet winter evening traveling between the east coast and Chicago. We made arrangements with Cheryl the day before and she was there to greet us when arrived. It's a little off the beaten path but not too far and well worth it. Cheryl is friendly and open. The bed was comfortable and the room...

This little gem is less than 10 minutes off I-80/90 on the South side of Wauseon, Ohio. Quiet, almost rural, yet close to town where there is a restaurant with an excellent reputation - sometimes requiring reservations during the middle of the week. Comfortable bed, delicious hot breakfast, considerate hostess, charming house, thoughtfully furnished with many amenities. The second level...

We passed thru on a road trip w our 3mo old child. The BH is a historical home that has been lovingly and cozily decorated. As everyone else has said, Cheryl is a warm person who serves up yummy breakfasts and cookies as well. There is a small counter dedicated to guest use that includes snacks, coffee maker, microwave, and...

This place is a gem -- and hostess Cheryl does so much to make the stay truly delightful! Perfectly appointed with understated elegance, sparkling clean, comfortable beds with pretty linens, little touches of comfort like slippers and...

When you are visiting the Wauseon area and you'd prefer an historic home to a small town motel -- we've got the place for you! The Burr House was built in the mid-1800's as the home of a dairy farm called Wauseona Farms. Over the years many changes have been made, but the country hospitality is as warm as ever. As you enter the front doors, you step back into an era of peace and calm. The living room with a fireplace, piano and lots of books is yours to enjoy. ... more   less
