My brother, my husband and myself stayed here Sept. 19, 2016. We wanted an historic place to stay and we found it. The Skyliner is not much to look at but the room was clean and comfortable. It is not for someone looking for a Best Western type place, the rooms are very small and the air conditioner is a...

The kids and I did route 66 and I was very happy when I found this hotel up and running! The owner was very patient as I asked him a multitude of questions prior to our arrival. The room and bathroom were very clean. The AC was in strong working order. The wifi strong. A working fridge/freezer in the room....

We were doing Route 66 and this was one of the more expensive motels where we stayed, possibly because it has the older neon sign outside and was in the guidebook. We were, however, a little disappointed with this motel as our room was very small, dark and the bathroom was dated and felt grubby. The staff were helpful but...

So, this was a must stay hotel due to the history etc. I knew the rooms would be small, no issues. But... So outdated! Apart from the tv I reckon nothing had Bern updated since the 70s! We were in rm 7 and you could either be cool with deafening aircon or too warm and save your ears. To be...

Small rooms, but clean - smell of disinfectant. Train a couple times at night was nearby. Staff was friendly. Get ice from the front office before they close. No hair dryer or shampoo provided. Able to walk to bar and restaurant nearby with safety.

A bit outdated (retro?), but the room was clean and so was the bathroom. Small room, with one bed, and a TV, a refrigerator a microwave a chair, a desk a table and almost no room left to maneuver. Oh and no coffeemaker. If you want ice, go to the reception as the owner keeps a bag of ice cubes...

We stopped here as hadn't seen any other motels for some time. Decided to chance it as it looked quite a traditional Route 66 motel. The room was interesting to say the least! An old fashioned TV in one corner and a flat screen on the wall. A bed so high you had to climb into it. Furniture was tatty...

This place was the quirkiest place we've stayed. It's been around for quite some time. The room was spacious and the beds were way up off the floor. We joked that we needed a step stool to get in/out of them. They were small (full size) but comfortable and worked well on the first night of our 14 night trip....
