This motel was adequate for an overnight stay, however the property really, really needs updating. The first time we stayed here it was extremely windy and cold and we could feel the wind coming from around the door. This room was really, really, really in need of an update. The only reason we stayed there at all was because its...

The VA put us up here for the night and we were very happy. We were able to bring our dogs and there was a lovely pond and gazebo in the middle of the complex. If you are into Pokemon it is awesome! Lol Rooms are good. Having pets I'm sure they don't want to upgrade too much. But it...

You can't always find a hotel that will sleep 4 adults but this one accommodated our family and at a very reasonable price. The hotel appears quite modest from Canyon Road but the reception area was a surprise with a gigantic electric-candled chandelier. The first person we encountered was a small lady with possibly an East European accent who was...

This is the SECOND time I've stayed at this hotel where, get this, I had a PAID IN FULL VOUCHER and the hotel CHARGED ME AGAIN DOUBLING THE CHARGE after I checked out! What?! Can TWO DOUBLE CHARGES be an accident? Further, when we checked in we made a big deal out of making sure this didn't happen again and...

Dear shrink2u, I apologize for any authorizations that were placed on your card when your room was prepaid for and want to assure you we had no intention of charging you twice and we regret any errors made by our front desk agent at check-in. I also want to apologize for the breakfast no being available, but we had to...

Recently stayed the bed was pretty decent, pillows we good. The hotel is old, rooms don't have updates, but it was too bad for the price. The in room coffee is bad, tried the buffet breakfast and I wouldn't recommend it. The location was easy mostly the price was good.

It’s almost like watching “That Seventies Show.” Although I never did actually watch it, I was aware of the title, which perfectly evokes the feeling of walking into the lobby of this hotel. The décor is original and authentic to the period. Don’t get me wrong – we had a very nice stay. I’ll say right at the beginning that...

For the most part, this was a fantastic stay. Everyone went out of their way to make this an enjoyable visit. The lounge opened 15 minutes early for us and we asked for chips and salsa which was not on the menu and they said no problem and served us promptly! The only thing that was not great, was that...

Strictly a budget option Pros: - Parking - just enough space - Location - quiet locality, yet only .5 miles away from a convenient shopping area Cons: - Average rooms - torn upholstery, non-working AC

I remember this property fondly as a child when it was Nendels. I have to remember that memory is a poor judge. Rooms are old and stale. Worst, I found hair in the bed and shower and the hotel staff's response was, "we'll have housekeeping take care of it". Ummm, they're the ones who left it that way!!!

My wife and children had reservations at the Shilo hotel. They had traveled 4 hrs, when they arrived (prior to 8pm) and were turned away. There was a snow storm and they were left stranded in a unfamiliar place and nowhere to go. I am writing this review and at the same time talking on the phone with my youngest...
