From the minute we arrived on our first visit to this property, we were treated as though our satisfaction was the very important to each and every member of staff. The room was wonderful, with a perfect mattress, and when we missed the FULL breakfast deadline by a few minutes, we were presented with a tray with all the breakfast we would have ordered with a warm smile. Having traveled the country and a good chunk of the globe, this is one of the best accommodations ever. It’s in a beautiful, safe district, is dog friendly and is only a few minutes from all services. No negatives, just a series of pluses.

I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels. I stay at Best Western Hotels whenever it is available which is most of the time. The Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn in Bend Oregon is the nicest Best Western in which I have stayed. They did not excel in just a single or few areas. Someone at this hotel is doing a fantastic job at focusing on all of the little details in order to make your stay comfortable and make sure that you want to come back. Guess what...it worked! Thanks to this entire team for making my stay perfect.

We are in the process of relocating we booked the stay at the peppertree inn the roads were terrible along the way we ended up checking in very late we were very tired. Staff was very helpful in checking Us in promptly so we could get our rest we had business meetings the next day meeting with potential employers we got a very good night sleep started the morning with an excellent breakfast there is a wide variety of local baked goods I would have paid for breakfast like that. We also were able to use the business center computers and printer to make copies of resumes and search for jobs and locations of potential properties overall extremely satisfied have already recommended it to my family.

The hotel is a mixed bag. Staying here is strictly a price over quality decision.
The rooms are spacious, the baths are excellent. The air conditioning is in the room and works remarkably well. The breakfast is always has numerous very large fresh bagels, scrambled eggs, oat meal, pancakes and sausage or bacon. Location is good for going to the mountain BUT Bend is small and virtually any hotel on West Side will be close. Its proximity to Oregon State is very good.
However, there are some issues. 1. DO NOT STAY ON ANY FLOOR BUT 4TH. I am in a 2nd floor room and every time anyone flushes in a higher room the plumbing sounds like a small subway rushing through the pipes. 2. The hotel is very technology oriented. To buy candy or soda there is an optical scanner and then pay. The scanner did not work well nor did charging to the room. Unless you call on the room phone it is impossible to get the front desk. You are directed to text. 3. You must REQUEST maid service or you will get none. It must be requested a day ahead since the crew only works off a pre-printed form. It is unclear if there is maid service on Saturday. 4. If you are traveling on business and need to work privately in your room, then there is an issue with lighting. There is a single overhead recessed light in my room not quite above the desk. There is no desk lamp. During the day fine. Working at night tough on some eyes. 5. If you firm mattresses and big pillows - seek another hotel.

We were assigned to room 137 which is right next to the pool equipment room. The noise coming from that room was so loud sleeping was impossible, so we had to pack everything up and switch to a different room. The bathroom tub floor in our new room was very dirty (see picture). Because we were only staying for 2 nights we made no complaints and showered with our slippers on. Having a good night of sleep was more important to us. Lastly, the breakfast was fine although the lady working in the restaurant clearly needs a helping hand. At around 7:30 most of the food was already gone and not being resupplied. We even had to share our cutlery because all the cutlery was still in the dishwasher. On a positive note the staff was very nice and helpful.

I stayed at the Hotel Peppertree in Bend, OR, part of Best Western Hotels & Resorts, and experienced a serious security breach. My family and I were given keys to an occupied room, giving us access to someone's personal belongings, including luggage and electronics. Despite reporting this immediately to the front desk, we received no follow-up or apology from the hotel management during our stay.
What is even more appalling is the complete lack of responsibility displayed by Best Western's corporate office. After reporting the incident on April 20, 2024 (Customer Service Number: CR838680), and being assured it would be handled by Hotel Peppertree directly, I discovered my case had been marked as resolved without any communication occurring.
A month has passed with no attempts at resolution from Hotel Peppertree or Best Western corporate. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customer safety is unacceptable. I am extremely displeased and strongly caution others when choosing accommodations. You may have a random person enter your room, and this hotel does not care.

The hotel itself was good for its price tier. The single Blink/Semaconnect charger in the parking lot was atrocious. It charged my Tesla at snail's pace (6.2kw) and in addition to the electricity they charge $2/hr while you're charging! Ridiculous, tone-deaf price gouge considering that other hotels in town offer EV charging for free, and one even has a Supercharger farm. Also, the touch payment system on the charger is broken and the only way to charge is to call Blink and wait 20 minutes on hold for them to start your charging session.

My husband and I stayed at this BW Premier last Spring and it was wonderful. This time however it was dismal. We were "upgraded" to a room on the top floor, as per request, and agreed to go from a king to a 2 queen room in order to be on the top floor. However, we were NOT told that, having originally booked a quiet (more expensive) mountain view room we would now be on the busy and noisy street side. After asking to go back to our originally booked king, mountain view room we were told there were now no rooms available, but were credited some funds. The room was very noisy and opening the window instead of using the loud AC definitely wasn't an option! The breakfast this time was also dismal... limited watery eggs, no sausages left, only a few pieces of white bread instead of muffins, minimal dry cereal choices, no hot chocolate, 1 very green banana! Seriously.. a BW Premier?? I doubt we will be staying here again.

They post a sign: "For your comfort...we will only provide housekeeping every 5 (sic) days." There were no bath towels, remotes with dead batteries and forget coffee. There is another Best Western in Northern Bend that is really great. Go there instead.

The hotel was clean and staff were pleasant, but some design choices favor beauty over practicality. The wall separating sleeping areas caused poor air circulation, one half of the room was nice and cool, the other was stuffy. The sliding barn door to the bathroom had no lock, and timers on the bathroom lights are not a good idea. I travel with kids and often leave it on in case people need to get up in the middle of the night since the room is unfamiliar. I also forgot to check the timer when getting in the shower one morning ( busy people had been in and out of bathroom all morning) and it turned off mid shower, leaving me in pitch black. I had to yell for my daughter to come turn them back on. I understand the desire to save electricity, but all other lights were not on timers. Also since they are not cleaning rooms every day due to covid, please put something besides those teeny hotel trash cans in the room. A larger trash can and recycle near the vending wouldn't hurt either. Though clean and spacious, I'd probably not return because of the AC/air circulation issue, we had to go buy a box fan to sleep comfortably in the room.
